Chapter 1

♡♡♡Elicia POV:♡♡♡

My name is Elicia Skylar Jackson and i am 17 years old. My birthday is June 14 and i love food. Its just me and my mum, my dad was forced to leave us for a reason i don't know. No matter how many times i ask the answer i always the same "It isn't important". I have only met dad once and that was when i was 1 and a half and my mum had finished fighting for custody over me in court. Although i was 1 i can still remember him very clearly. Since then it has been just me and my mum, Ruby. Right Now we are moving to California for my mums work. She is a doctor and they needed her and since the pay was good she accepted.

*Beep* *Beep* *Be-

*Bang* I slammed My arm down on my alarm and groaned. Today was Saturday, the day that i would be saying goodbye to New York and hello to California. I Snuck a peek at the time and looked to see that it was 9:33am. Once i saw this i jumped out of bed and rushed to the bathroom to do my daily routine.

I changed into Black skinny Jeans, a comfy white Jumper that says "I Like Food" and a pair of fresh white and black Jordans. I checked the time again to see it was now 10:12am and me and my Mum's flight leaves at 11:30am.

"ELLIE ITS TIME TO GO HONEY" My Mum shouted up to me.

COMING MUM" I shouted down.
I grabbed my suitcase and lifted it down the stairs and rolled it to the all white rang rover my mum loves.
"Are you ready to go to California?" My Mum asked.

"As ready as ill ever be" I replied.

For the rest of the 6 hour journey it was just the music playing as i thought about how much im gonna miss this place.

"All passengers of flight 412 California please report to baggage claim to collect your luggage"

That was us, Flight 412. As soon as we collected our luggages we made our way outside where i noticed the familiar range rover sitting there parked. (They had it shipped) We made our way there and drove to 32 Crystal Lane which was our new house. For mum accepting the job she got a the house free and they had everything from our old house shipped and set up ready for us.

As soon as we got home it was 6:53pm and i was knackered.

"Ellie are you going to have dinner hun?" mum asked.

"No Mum im really tired so i think im gonna call it a night and head up to bed" i said

"Ok sweetie sleep well" my mum said and smiled up as she explored the kitchen which was fairly big.

I looked around upstairs to find that there was a room with my name on it so i opened it to see a huge room with all my stuff in it. There was a bathroom connected to it so i didnt need to wait for mum. I lay down on my bed and plugged my phone in to charge and turned it on. I flinched at the brightness but eventually got used to it. i checked instagram snapchat and whatsapp but got bored so i drifted off to sleep thinking of what tomorrow will bring.

"Ellie"...."Ellie"..."ELLIE" I groaned. Who in their right mind would wake a girl up on a Sunday at.....I widened my eyes 3:36pm. SH!T

"ELICIAAAA"

"Im up Im Up. Geez woman dont your your pants in a twist" I mumbled.

After my daily routine i climbed down the stairs and into the kitche where i could smell the food. Bacon..Eggs..Pancakes...Mmmmm.

"Hey mum this looks amazing thank youuu" i said as i ate it all up.

She chuckled and said "your welcome sweetie. Are you going to check out the town today?" She asked.

"Yep, i dont know when ill be home though. probably when im done."

"Okay thats fine. Heres the spare key, i've got a late shift tonight and im going to be back pretty late" she said handing me the keys.

"Okay mum see you later, i'm gonna go check the town out now, love you" I said giving my mum a peck on the cheek.

"Love you too, Be Safe"

"I will," i said as i shut the door and began my walk around town.

I've been wondering around this for some town now and its so beautiful and-bump I think i just bumped into a wall.

"Ouch! Stupid wall" i mumbled as it chuckled. Wait! Walls dont chuckle.

"I dont think im a wall" the thing said.

I looked up to see a really good-looking guy staring down at me with the most hypnotizing brown eyes ever.

"What's your name, love?" He asked as I blushed at the nickname.

"I'm Elicia, Elicia Jackson. I'm so sorry for bumping into you,"

"I'm not i got to meet a beautiful young lady who is you" I blushed even more at this and looked down.

"My name is Asher Daniels" He said and smiled.

"Nice to meet you"

"Nice to meet you to. So are you new around here?"

"Yeah me and my mum just moved here for her job"

"Oh thats cool. What school are you attending?"

"Willow Creak"

"Oh what a coincidence i go there too. Hey i gotta go but here take my number and if you ever need anything feel free to give me a call okay" He said as he jabbed in his digits on my phone.

"Sure. Bye Asher"

"Bye Elicia"

And then i was by myself again....in the middle of nowhere...lost.
