New Beginings

I walk along this dusty road
Once full of ashes,
Now of hope.

A new beginning awaits me,
Somewhere in my journey
But where is it?

Even those I walk this road of hope,
It still only snows ashes
That can't be washed away by the hope it rains.

The broken road cannot be fixed
Only repaired.

I used to feel like these ashes would light fire
And take me with them.

Now that worry has faded
But a new one has arose
What if I have a drought?
Then there would not be any hope
Only pain, no rain.

I just want to see what happens further on this road
Maybe snowy ashes which bring me dreary,
Or hopeful rain which makes me happy.
