I walk along this dusty road
Once full of ashes,
Now of hope.A new beginning awaits me,
Somewhere in my journey
But where is it?Even those I walk this road of hope,
It still only snows ashes
That can't be washed away by the hope it rains. The broken road cannot be fixed
Only repaired.I used to feel like these ashes would light fire
And take me with them. Now that worry has faded
But a new one has arose
What if I have a drought?
Then there would not be any hope
Only pain, no rain.I just want to see what happens further on this road
Maybe snowy ashes which bring me dreary,
Or hopeful rain which makes me happy.

PoetryThese are the 3 poems that got me an honorable mention in the scholastic writing contest. They are not my best work, because those are usually really depressing and they wouldn't take me seriously if I submitted something like that.
