I hit my pencil against my head, staring hopelessly at my mathematics homework.
"Tikki, please tell me you remember the formula.. Or else I'll never finish this!"
"Marinette! You need to listen more in the class, and stop thinking about Adrien. You can just take it in blank on Monday, and say you didn't understand!"
I sigh, realizing Tikki was right.
"After all, you're being interviewed tonight, and you don't have time for this."
I gasp, quickly turning to my clock. 5:00
"Tikki I need to get ready!" I quickly stand up, grabbing my comb to brush my hair.
"It's just.. It's almost impossible to balance being Ladybug and Marinette."
Tikki lets out a sigh, before sitting on my shoulder. "Marinette, you'll be fine. Just believe in yourself!"
--------------------------------------------
I finally get ready, and lastly I slip on my tiny purse, letting Tikki inside of it. I run out of the house, and on my way I kiss my mom and dad goodbye.I quickly run down the street, before standing behind an old building.
"You ready to do this Tikki?" I open my purse, letting her fly out.
"Of course Marinette. Let's do this!"
I smirk, moving my hair behind my ear. "In that case.."
"Spots on Tikki!"
Tikki smiles, before she flies into my earring.
I hold out my arms, my clothing replaced with a ladybug suit. I quickly lift up my arms, covering my eyes. Right as I cover them, a ladybug spotted mask appears.
And finally, a ladybug spotted yoyo ties around my waist.
I take a deep breath, grabbing my yoyo.
Don't mess this up, Marinette..
I pull back my yoyo, spinning it at full speed. I aim towards the top of a building, before I throw it. The yoyo wraps around the building, showing no signs of breaking.
I then step backwards, tugging on the yoyo.
The yoyo quickly reels in, sending me into the air.
I hold onto the yoyo tightly, before I tug it again, the yoyo releasing.
I soar through the air for a moment, before I land on the roof of a building.
I wrap my yoyo around my waist, breaking into a sprint. I jump from building to building, stopping when I see everyone in the park.
I throw my yoyo, letting it wrap around a tree. I pull on the yoyo, quickly descending into the crowd.
Several people look up, pointing and cheering.
I land in front of everybody, dirt ascending slowly from my landing.
I stand up, putting my hands on my hips.
"Who's ready to interview Ladybug?"
