"My kit is gone!" a queen cried from the nursey. Mossthorn shifted his gaze from his clan-mate to the queen. "Where's my kit?!" Flinchstar demanded. He bounded over to the queen and licked her between the ears. "Dove-eyes, Whitefur, Acornfoot, and Dewnose, search for Webkit!" Flinchstar hissed. The four cats looked at each other and nodded and headed to the camp entrance. Sorrow struck Mossthorn's heart. Mossthorn was the one who took care of Webkit when Smokebreeze, the queen, didn't have enough milk. She ran over and pressed her muzzle to Smokebreeze's side. "We'll find them-- I'm sure."

Dove-eyes came back to the camp, his broad shoulders slunked. Acornfoot came second, his head hanging in shame. Whitefur came up behind Whitefur, her expression hard to read. But Mossthorn thought she had satisfaction in her eyes... She switched her gaze to Dewnose, who came into camp with Webkit clamped in her jaws. "Webkit!" Smokebreeze wailed. She snatched Webkit from Dewnose.
Mossthorn came up to Smokebreeze. "He would've made a fantastic warrior, maybe even leader some day," Mossthorn assured, her voice raw with greif. Smokebreeze didn't reply. She looked up. Whitefur and Flinchstar were glaring at each other. Could she have done it? Mossthorn thought, but then shook her head. Whitefur wouldn't do such a thing, right?

Its been 5 days since the death of Webkit. Mossthorn felt bad for the smoky gray queen. She looked up at the sky. I know your watching us, Webkit. Lavenderstripe interupted Mossthorn's thoughts, "I want you to lead the dawn patrol. You could take Firepaw, Gorsepaw and Nettlerose. Take one more person withyou, maybe?" Mossthorn nodded a "yes", then Lavenderstripe dipped his head and padded away.

When the dawn patrol came back, Mossthorn sat by the fresh-kill pile. She gave a shaky sigh. They almost got into a fight with ThunderClan, wich was bad, since someone were to fall over the edge of the lake and drown. They were pretty close to the lake, mind you. Tears filled Mossthorn's eyes. Is that how Webkit died? She shook her head. Things have been getting to her lately. With the arrival of Dove-eyes kits, Mossthorn was shaken up when she saw the tom who looked like Webkit. She was shaken up when there was a chance when someone would die, especially in battle with ShadowClan two days ago. Mossthorn turned around and headed towards the warriors den.

When Mossthorn opened her eyes, starry spirits were dotted across the starry feild. I must be in StarClan, she thought. A blurry brow figure apeared from the ranks of StarClan. "Who are you?" she asks. The tom became clearer, and dipped his head. "I am Chiveclaw, once WindClan's medicine cat." Before Mossthorn could say anything, Chiveclaw continued, "I have seen you greiving for Webkit the last couple of days. Everyone forgot about Webkit, but they still remember him. Your the only who hasn't let him go." Mossthorn sighed. "I know. Know knows him as much as I do! They don't understand!" Chiveclaw seayed his tail. "Thats true. But, Mossthorn, every cat has a beguinning, and some are sooner then others. You must let go of him, or it'll interfere with your own life." StarClan started fading. When Mossthorn awoken, she looked at the sky. "Very well. But Webkit, you'll always have a place in my heart."
