Chapter 3

A/N SORRY SORRY DON'T KILL ME I KNOW IT TOOK FOREVER BUT HERE IT IS!

After exiting the locker room, after gym I was ready for bed already... but I had promised Ember I would walk her home and I wasn't missing that. I dragged my feet through the loud and smelly hall way up to my locker. I through my dirty gym clothes in my bag and through in my homework well I was at it. I grabbed my bag out of my locker and through it over my shoulder. I then leaned against the locker waiting for Ember to come to her locker. After waiting 15 minutes and the hall was cleared I began to worried and walked to where I had last seen her, the girls washroom.

I heard someone cry from inside and pushed open the door quickly to see Ember on the floor with a bloody nose and she didn't look comfortable.

"Emmy!" I cried sitting next to her "What happened?"

"These girls... they thought I was checking.. them out... which I wasn't btw they were really ugly.... and anyways............They like hit me with... there fucking purses... how cliché is that?" she explained tiredly

"Oh baby let me help you" I said lifting her up bridal style and setting her on the counter. I went into one of the stall and grabbed some toilet paper. I then walked to the sink where Ember was and wet it down. I began to dab at her nose and she winced in pain as I did.

"This looks bad... I think it might be broken. What did they have in those purses a brick?" I asked her

"I don't think so Maddss" she chuckled quietly

"I think your nose is broken... we should take you to the school nurse" I said as I picked her up

"Wait... My mom can't know or she'll take me out of school" she explained

"I'll tell them you walked into a door than" I said

"Sounds good Mady" she said as she snuggled her head into my neck. I could tell she was in pain by the way she would flinch every time her nose would hit me or move. I some how felt like it was my fault she was hurt. If I hadn't left her, she wouldn't be hurt.

"Emmy, were here" I told her as I knocked on the nurses door hoping she would still be there. Thankfully the door swung open and the nurses eyes widened. She brought us in taking Ember out of my arms and offering me a seat. I took it wait anxiously for her to tell me what was going on

"Her nose is broken... how did this happen?" She asked me

"She said she walked right into a door." I lied easily, without thinking about it

"Alright, well I'll call her parents to take her home. You can go home sweetie" The nurse smiled

"I'll wait here with her if that's okay" I said politely

"Yes it's fine" She smiled walking out to make the phone call to Ember's parents.  Ember sat up and looked at me

"Is she calling my parents?" she asked me

"Yes they'll be here soon. How are you feeling?" I asked her

"My nose hurts like a bitch but better because your here"  She smiled at me

"That's the cutest thing I have ever heard" I giggled at her

"I try" she said putting her hands in the air

"So, I was wondering how you could just do that today" I asked

"Do what?" she asked confused

"Just tell people your gay... how do you do it?" I asked her looking for help

"Well, I know some people won't except me and I except that. But before people become friends with me they need to know who I am. I am comfortable with the idea of people knowing that I like girls. It was the hardest thing in my life to do, to tell my peers... It was easier with my parents. But I know for people with a mom and a dad it would be harder to tell parents. You have to believe that they'll love you no matter what and if they don't have someone who is there for you" She explained

"but I don't think they'll love me no matter what and what do you mean you don't have a mom and a dad?" I asked

"They will because your perfect... and you'll see. They should be here soon." she replied

"But you'll be there no matter what... right?" I asked

"Yes, and I would love to be there in other ways. But you need to feel comfortable with yourself before you can love some else" she explained as the door began to open. I turned to see to women standing there.

"Moms!" Ember giggled putting her hands out for a hug. Now I know what she meant. She has two moms and no dad. The two girls gave there daughter a hug then turned to me

"I'm Ariel, and this is my wife Perrie! Are you the famous Madelyn we've heard so much about" Ariel her mom said

"Yes, nice to meet you mrs..." I didn't know what to call her

"Just call me Perrie and her Ariel... I know it can be confusing. But we should really be going. You should come for dinner sometime" Perrise smiled

"Alright thank you, I'll see you tomorrow hopefully Emmy" I smiled hugging her tight and waving good bye to her parents. I walked out of the room quickly. I sped down the hall and out the front door, I couldn't wait to get home and just eat and watch some tv. I was so glad Ember was okay, and she gave me some great advice I really needed. Now all I need to do is tell my parents, it may seem like I'm rushing but I think they should know. Also, I really want to ask Ariel out. I smiled at the thought of being able to ask her out. she was so perfect with her beautiful eyes, and bright smile. I couldn't wait to see her.
