Adam's POV
The way he looked at her is the way every girl wanted to be looked at. She was the best girl I ever met. Her name was Adeline, Adeline Keppner. We met in Elementary school, I always knew I would end up with her. She was the prettiest girl ever, well at least I thought. I was always way to scared to talk to her, because I would probably always do something stupid. Once we went to middle school, I eventually had the courage too. One day I went up to her in my Latin class, and said "Hi Adeline."
Then she said, "Hi Adam."
I was so surprised she actually knew my name. I tried to create small talk but I failed miserably.
"So how is the project going?" I said
She said, "I think I am doing pretty bad."
I said, "I can maybe help you if you want." I got really flustered and said "never mind you don't have to.
She interrupted me and said, "I actually would love too, what about Thursday in the library at 4:15."
I got so excited, It took every bone in my body to not jump up and down and scream "fuck yes."
I tried to act calm and eventually said, "that would be great."
Then, she said, "okay great, see you then."
On Wednesday, I tried not to daydream the entire day about what I was going to say to her tomorrow.
I even forgot to put food in my mouth because I kept day dreaming about her.
Then came the day, Thursday, March 9th, the day I had a crush on since elementary school was actually going to work with me. I tried not to freak out the entire day. I almost failed my Algebra test, even though I was in 7th grade.
At 4:15, I walked in the library, and she was already there waiting for me. I thought oh my god!! Maybe she likes me.
She waved me over, and I tried not to run like a crazy person, I didn't know how to exactly flirt. So I tried to be myself. She eventually said "hey."
All I wanted to say was, "Can I just fuck with you?"
But all that came out of my mouth was, "hi."
Then she said, "ready to get down to business."
Then I said, "yeah sure, what do you need help with." .
Her beautiful green eyes were like emeralds shining at there brightest. She was so beautiful.
Then she said, "everything pretty much."
We were there for hours, and I loved ever moment of it. Her hair was as blond as a summer sun.
At the end, I wanted to ask her out, but I didn't have the courage too.
