Anastasia's POV.

Groaning I rummaged through my locker, searching for my maths books. I mentally cursed myself once I had remembered I had forgotten them at home. I continues rummaging until one of my books, fell atop of my head. "Shit." I cursed, loudly.

Jumping once I felt someone's hand on my back, "Are you alright?" he asked softly. I spun around quickly looking into beautiful brown eyes. "Y-Yeah, I was just- looking for my maths books, but I forgot them at home." I laughed rubbing my hand across the back of my neck. "Oh well, I'm Dylan." he said softly, outstreching his hand for me to take. I took it hesitantly, "Anastasia." I said with a shy smile. "Y'know I'm new here, and I need some showing around, would you mind?" he asked, an eyebrow arching upwards.

"I Uhh- Sure." I said smiling back at him. He smiled, and I stood up closing my locker and slinging my book bag over my shoulder. "My lord, you're beautiful." he complimented. I blushed a dark Crimson red. "T-Thanks," I stammerd, as I pushed my curly hair from my eyes. "No problem." he replied.

I smiled, as we began walking through the abandoned hallway. "So, Anastasia. I've seen you around town, you don't seem to have many friends, because if people don't like you, they must completely nuts not to!" he exclamied with a slight chuckle. I rolled my eyes and looked over at him. "It's not that people don't like me, I just don't trust them." I shrugged, rubbing a hand along my arm. He rolled his dark brown eyes, "Why not?" he asked, stopping me suddenly. "I just don't." I shrugged, before continuing. " I just don't trust anyone, and most of them turn on me. I've been hurt way too many times, I just don't want anymore pain." I said as tears built up in my eyes, reminding me of all the friends that turned on me.

"Hey, hey, hey there. No crying on me." as he pulled me into a tight hug. I just stood rigid, afraid to do anything. He slowly began rubbing cirlcles on my back, attempting to soothe me. I relaxed a bit, but my body was still quite tense. Dylan pulled out of the hug and smiled. "it's alright, I'll be your friend." he smiled.

Exactly at those words I smiled, and brushed some more hair out of my face. "Thanks." I smiled. He shrugged, and sort of waved me off. "Nah, it's fine. I like being friends with new people." he laughed. I giggled a bit at him. What the fuck? Since when do I fucking giggle.

I shrugged the thought out of my head, and turned to Dylan, who was looking at me with a smug smirk across his beautiful, plump lips. "What?" I asked, an eyebrow raising. "Oh nothing, just admiring that you don't think you giggle." he said, a small chuckle errupting in the back of his throat. I blushed again. "I said that aloud?" I asked, as we continued along the long corridor, turning around a bend.

He laughed and nodded his head. "Yup, you did!" he said popping the 'p'.

Eventually after pointless arguing, we found our way to maths class, which we both had first, noticing that we were quite late. "Ms.Valencia!" my teahcer shrilled. I winced slightly at the pitch. "Yes?" I asked. "Who is this?" she asked. "T-this is Dylan O'Brien, t-the new boy." I replied. I looked up at her and saw her face slightly soften. "Ah, I see." she said. "Now get to your desk." she spoke, gesturing towards my desk. I nodded quickly scurrying my way back, looking forward towards Dylan.

"Mr. O'brien. Please take the seat there, behind Ms.Anastasia." She said, as she pointed to the desk behind me.

I groaned, as he walked by his hand gliding against my arm as he passed. Shivering I shot my head towards the front.

Oh no...........
