Chapter 48

Nathan's PoV

I can't believe that Sammy wants to help me. Even after what i've done to her, she still wanted to help me. She's so kind. Unlike my sister. I hope that she's my sister.

We're on our way to Brooklyn's house. I can't talk, well i can actually, but i don't want to because i feel ashamed after what i've done.

Sammy touch my shoulder and gave me a reassuring smile, then she said," We're here. And it's okay, i already forgive you. You don't have to feel ashamed. You're one of us now. Forget the past, and look forward for what the future may bring."

She can read mind? or she's very understanding?

All of us, that means me, Sammy, Niall, and Brooklyn, walk inside. There's nobody home.
We all sit on the sofa. Took a deep breath, and release at the same time.

"I'm glad that you're safe Sammy, and i'm very thankful for your help Nathan," Niall said.

All of them are very kind.

"I'm the one who should be thanking you all for forgiving me. You all are very kind. I owe you all my life." I said.

Brooklyn smiled and said," you do not owe us anything. We just wanted to help. You've helped Sammy, and it's our turn to help you."

They stand up and give me a friendly hug.

"Okay enough with the sad talk, let me give you something to change, and follow me Nathan, i'll show you where you can stay." Brooklyn said with a humorous tone.

I followed him to the guest room. Well it's nice, clean, and big. I thanked him.
"You can take a bath first, i'll put the clothes on the bed, the towel and everything you need is inside the bathroom." He said.

Sammy's PoV

I sat on the couch with Niall next to me. I put my head on his shoulder, happy to be back with someone i know.
Niall put his arm on my shoulder.

Suddenly, Brooklyn walks in.
He motioned me to follow him, and i did. We are at the backyard now.
Brooklyn look at me and said," Sammy, i'm glad that you're okay. And please forgive me, be mine again. will you?"

I'd have to admit, i still love him, and i'll always love him. But, what about Rosie?

I took a few step backs and said," i wanted to, but what about Rosie? no not her, what about the baby inside of Rosie's stomach? The baby is your blood."

He holds my hands and said," I don't even know if that baby is mine. But i can feel it if that baby isn't mine. I just have to wait until that baby is born, then i'll do a DNA test."

I shook my head in disagreement and said," It's not the baby's fault if the baby come to the world. I'm not blaming the baby about our relationship. It's just, the baby gonna need you. And you have to be there. My father is rarely around in my childhood, and it feels bad when my friends are telling stories about their holiday with their dad, and all i can do is smile and stare at them, because i don't have any good memories with him, because he's all busy. You have to be there for the baby."

"But what if the baby isn't mine? it's not my responsibility to be there for the baby, am i right?" He asked.

"Yes it's not your responsibility. But you must've known Rosie. She'll probably throw that baby away and live her slutty life. You have to take that baby, take care of him, adopt him, and love him like the baby is your own. And if the baby isn't really yours, and then Rosie go away, i'll think about helping you. And you know what that mean." I said and leave him.

I walked to the living room.

"Wait, you promise?" Brooklyn screamed.

I look at him and nod my head.

Brooklyn's PoV

I will take care of that baby if that's what Sammy wants. And she do promise to help me if i want to take care of that baby.

I'll love that baby, because Sammy wanted me to.

Just follow where the river takes us. Life must go on.

Sammy isn't gonna stay here tonight, she and Niall are going back to Niall's flat. Louis and Alice are already there waiting. We're gonna act like nothing bad have happened.

Nathan is staying with me, and i'll told my parents that he's my foster old friend.

I'm saying goodbye to Niall and Sammy.
I gave Sammy a long friendly hug and after that she go to Niall's car.

And now it's me and Niall.
I spoke to Niall," um mate, would you take care of her if i couldn't?"

Niall looked a bit by surprise and said," i will. i cross my heart."

I nod and gave him a short hug.
And both of them go away. I'm glad everything is back to normal.

And suddenly i remembered if Rosie get back here, she'll be so damn mad, and she'll probably do everything to make Nathan hurt or even die. Shit
