I really had no idea what happened next since I was freaking out so much but when those striking blue eyes glanced my way I nearly had a heart attack. My whole body started to shake and I clumsily feel out of bed, trying my hardest to get away from this white haired boy.

Since my mind wasn't working properly, I didn't have the brains to ask who he was or why I kept hearing his voice but I DID have the brains to keep my distance from him.

My nails dug into the carpet as I dragged myself to the opposite side of the room... away from him.

'Crap! Crap, crap, crap!!! How the hell did a freakin stranger sneak his way into my room! Is he gonna kidnap me? Or worse ... rape me!?! No, no, no, no!' My body shook; a thin line of cold sweat covered my skin as I thought of the possibilities. This might be the last time I saw my room, the last time I saw my brother!

Okay, I was officially freaked out!

The boy stared at me with a stupid look on his face, like he thought I was the weird one.

"Wow! You've gotten even funnier" his voice was filled with humor as he floated to me.

Yes, FLOATED! I wasn't imagining it, his pale feet weren't touching the ground and I'm not sure he noticed.

"Listen buddy! I don't know what I did to offend you in your past life, but I am pretty sure it's not something to haunt me over!" I screamed while using my arms to shield my face.

The mysterious boy stopped moving and stared, wide eyed. I thought I totally got him and that he would start to leave me alone but I was wrong. Instead of apologizing for being a creepy, floating, white-haired freak, he cracked up laughing. His laugh felt like a knife slicing through my ego. Was he laughing AT me? What the heck did I do to deserve this pain in the ass?

"Hey-" I tried to get his attention but he completely ignored me. I swear he looked like one of those psychopaths, after they just got away with murder. I didn't understand what was so funny.

All my fear and confusion was replaced with anger as my eye twitched with annoyance.

"Shut up..."

He kept laughing without even glancing at me. I felt like slapping his amusement right of his smug face. My hands folded into a tight fist as I glared at him, sending all my hatred through the look in my eyes.

"Just... SHUT UP!!" my voice bounced off the walls and ceiling sending an electric shock to the cackling boy.

My breathing slowed as I stared at the now quiet boy. His icy blue eyes narrowed as he scanned me and before I knew it, his pale lips curved into a grin.

"Does my laughter annoy you? Mmh? Aneira?"

Normal people would probably freak out and ask how he knew their name but for some reason the only thing I did was turn bright red. I don't know why and I am pretty sure I didn't want to know, but the way his playful lips pronounced my name, made my heart beat faster then normal.

"Who are yo-?" I tried to ask the most waited question but I was interrupted by a scared younger brother who stood at the door gawking at his crazy sister, who was apparently talking to a strange, floating silver head boy.

"Uh-oh!" the boy giggled and moved away from me, trying to hide his amusement of the situation.

"S-sis? Are you okay? I heard yelling, I thought someone had climbed into your room but...?" Ryan didn't finish; instead he looked at me with a worried expression, silently chewing on his lip. I really didn't think I had to explain why I was yelling, you know because there was a bloody flying ICE MAN GRINNING HIS FUCKING ASS OFF AT ME!!

My eye twitched as I forced a smile at my naïve little brother, "Does everything look okay to you?"

"From the way your acting, I would have to say no, but then again, you have a fever and that might be what's making you delusional" he moved closer to me, acting as if I was a wild animal about to attack him.

"Delusional?" I pointed a questioning finger at the silver haired boy, "I am pretty sure that he isn't an illusion!!"

My brother walked to me, his hands were up which for some reason made me even madder.

Did he think I was crazy? I'm not crazy!! How could he not see this strange boy? Actually I was quite surprised that he didn't react to the noise as well, since the boy had started laughing again in a not so quiet manner.

"Aneira, how bout you go back to bed okay? You must be really tired!" Ryan gently took my hand and guided me towards my bed. I decided to just go along with it and let my younger brother tuck me in.

As my head felt the softness of my pillow, a wave of sleepiness washed over me and my eyes suddenly became heavy.

No sleeping! How dare you suddenly feeling like taking a nap! I mentally yelled at myself for being so weak in this kind of situation. If I fell asleep now then I would become an easy target for this freaky floating boy in my room.

My brother's hand gently stroked my hair out of my eyes, "You must be tired, how bout you sleep, then when you wake up I'll make you the soup?"

I tried to protest but it seemed too much of an effort so instead I just made a mumbling noise, indicating that I agreed.

Ryan gave a low chuckle and slowly exited my room, closing the door gently.

My eyes fluttered lightly as I glanced at the still smiling stranger at the end of my bed.

Maybe if I have a short nap he'll go away...

I closed my eyes, pretending to forget about him and sighed deeply. Apparently the boy didn't enjoy being ignored since I heard him move around my room, trying to get my attention.

I opened my right eye slightly so I could get a peek of what the idiot was doing, but it seems all he had done was grabbed a book from my shelf and plopped himself down on my desk chair. I wouldn't have guessed he liked reading, since he didn't look like he could concentrate on something for a long time but there he was, reading line after line of a book. Actually now that I looked closer at the novel in his hand, I realized it wasn't a novel at all. This boy had grabbed a Japanese comic from my bookshelf and was reading it intently, with a goofy grin on his face.

"Man, manga sure is interesting!" he glanced at me then my manga filled bookshelf, "and you have a lot of it."

Even though a moment ago I was feeling really tired, right now I just felt like hitting him. "Name!"

The boy looked at me curiously, shocked by my sudden outburst. He glanced at the manga that gently rested in his grip, "... Kieli. It's quite an interesting manga, if I do say so myself"

I felt as though an angry vein had popped in my forehead. I used my hands to push my self off my back so I was sitting upright and glaring at him, "Not the manga's name, YOUR name!!" my voiced raised as I got more frustrated with him.

It seemed as though something clicked inside his empty head because he put the manga down and gave me a giant smile. The boy jumped lightly in the air to land on a staff with a G-shaped arch.

How did I not notice that was there?

The staff kind of resembled a shepherd's crook but had beautiful ice designs coated around the old wood, which made it look quite magical.

I gaped at the boy as he rubbed his hands together, small drops of snow floated out of his fingers, melting as soon as they touched the hardwood floor. He opened his lightly glowing hands to reveal an angelic snowflake; it danced in the air and floated towards me. Out of reflects, I opened my hands and let it land on my palm, as the sharp feeling of coldness touched my palm I realized that the snowflake was most defiantly real.

"I'm Jack Frost" the boy's eyes glittered at me as he spoke his name.

The snowflake in my palm melted and I couldn't feel it anymore, only a tiny puddle was left. My vision blurred and my head landed back on my pillow. The last thing I remembered was a cold sensation on my forehead, as though it was trying to see if I really was sick.
