...to the enclosed cave at the center of camp. You push aside the curtain of foliage and moss and enter the large, cavernous room. A fire is lit in the center, a warm and pulsing light. Several nests are around it, for the leader and his coucil of advisers and warlords, as well as his family--his mate, the Hier, and his other children.
