Ron of course hated this situation. He hated Malfoy and wanted nothing to do with him. He also saw being gay as an unnatural thing. His best mate couldn't be a fag! And for Malfoy?!
Ron walked down the hallway and saw Harry and Draco together. As always. He ran over and pried Harry away. "Hey mate, let's go out to Hogsmeade!" Ron pressed.
"Sure! Cmon Dray," Harry said as he grabbed his boyfriends hand.
"Um, no. He can't come. Just us two," Ron said, trying to pry Harry away from him. He succeeded and got Harry at his side.
"Why not?" Harry asked.
"Because we haven't hanged out in a while," Ron said as he started guiding Harry to the door. Harry looked back at Draco, who looked terrified.
"Um, Ron could we do this maybe some other time?" Harry asked.
"Nope. It's 50% off chicken nuggets at Three Broomsticks!" Ron said as he walked faster. Harry felt slight discomfort, which terrified him even more.
Whenever they were separated, one of the two would only experience slight pain. The other would experience... Well, a lot of pain. And it only got worse. It was like the cruciatius curse.
Draco collapsed in the middle of he hallway, gasping for air. Students all around him gasped and ran to help him. Hermione raced over to him and crouched down next to him.
"Someone get help!" She cried, trying to calm Draco down.
"Harry," Draco cried out. "Harry!"
The pain in his sides was now flowing up to his chest, making it difficult to breathe. It felt like he had broken ribs, he was struggling to breathe and it felt like bones were digging into his skin.
"Harry!" He screamed.
"Harry what?!" Hermione cried, tears in her eyes. "Please, Draco tell me what happened!"
"Hurts," Draco gasped.
"What does?"
"Everythi-! AAH!" Draco cut himself off and screamed in pain. "Harry!" He sobbed.
Harry sprinted down the hallways when he found out what happened. He raced through the corridors and saw a crowd of people.
"Move, move! My boyfriend is hurt!" Harry yelled.
Students almost instantly moved out of the way and made a path straight to Draco. Harry ran over and collapsed next to him, collecting his boyfriend in his arms.
Draco weakly wrapped his arms around Harry's waist and pressed his flushed face into his chest. He tried to get his breathing under control and wanted the pain to go away.
"Harry!" Draco screamed in pain.
Harry picked Draco up and ran back to his dorm. He put Draco on the bed and crawled in with him, stripping them into their boxers. He pressed his entire body up to Draco's, wrapped his arms around him, and waited. He figured out earlier that if skin was pressed together it help a lot better.
"Harry," Draco cried.
"I know honey, it's okay now. I've got you," Harry told him softly. Draco cried into his neck and held him even tighter.
"No don't!" Draco sobbed when Harry leaned up.
"Shh, Draco I'm just getting the blanket. I'm not leaving you," Harry told him as he brought the blanket on them. "Better?"
Draco nodded and buried his face in Harry's chest. Harry brought a hand up to his hair and stroked it gently while trying to calm his breathing.
Draco wrapped his legs around Harry's waist and sobbed into his chest. "Why'd you leave me?" He cried.
Harry looked down at him sadly, trying to fight back tears. "I'm so sorry Draco," Harry whispered. "Ron wouldn't let me leave no matter what I tried telling him. I finally just turned around and left when someone told me you were hurt and looking for me,"
Draco let out a son and nuzzled himself further into Harry's embrace. "Ow," he whimpered as he wiggled his hips around. Harry placed his hands on his hips and massaged then gently, having Draco sigh happily and stop struggling.
"Better?" Harry asked. "I don't want you in pain,"
"I'm okay," Draco said quietly. The pain had died down and was now small pangs of discomfort. Harry kissed his head and held him close.
"I'm sorry, I'm so sorry, Draco," Harry whispered. Draco sniffled and kissed his neck-the only thing he could reach, and tightened his grip on him.
"It's okay. It's over now," he said, his voice filled with relief.
Suddenly there was a knock on the door. Harry pulled the blanket that was covering him and his boyfriend up so it would cover them.
"Mate, why the bloody hell did you leave?" Ron's angry voice boomed through the dorm.
"Because I needed to get Draco," Harry told him. He rubbed Draco's back, resulting in Draco at arching his back toward his hand. Harry smiled. His soulmate reminded him of a cat.
"Well why couldn't you leave him?" Ron asked as he walked in. "Ew!" He shrieked, shielding his eyes. "Now I see, you left me to get back to your fuck buddy!"
"Ron!" Harry said angrily. Draco sighed and turned away from Harry. Harry glared at Ron and placed his hand on Draco's side.
"Well it's true!"
"It isn't! Draco was in pain that would have only increased if I wasn't there!" Harry told him, seething in anger.
"Well why couldn't you leave him there?!" Ron asked.
"He would have died!" Harry yelled at him.
"WELL GOOD!" Ron screamed. "Hopefully he will!"
Draco and Harry froze. Harry got out of bed, Still only in his boxers, then slapped Ron across the face. Draco gasped as Ron staggered back.
Harry pointed to the door. "Get out." He said, scarily calm.
"What?" Ron asked.
"I said-" Harry darkened his expression. "-get. The. Fuck. Out,"
Ron left the room, looking back at Harry with a disgusted expression.
