Dad

The alarm clock went on indicating that I should wake up. I groaned and turned it off.
"What time is it?"Mimi asked rubbing her eyes
"It's 6:30"I answered and smiled at her .
She got up and went to her room. I went to the bath room and took a 10 min. shower. I wore a white hoodie with a bear on it and black pants with white converse. The hoodie is childish but I like it. I put on the wig rayan bought me and Lily's extra braces and went downstairs.
"Morning sis " Dany said eating cereal .
"Morning " I said and strayed preparing Mimis and my breakfast.
"Today is the big day" he said
I sighed " I hope it goes well and he'll stay with us"
"Me too" he said
"Candice I'm not feeling well . Can I stay here?"Mimi asked when she entered the kitchen .
"No you have to go to school " Dany said
I rolled my eyes at him
"I'll call Nancy and tell her to come babysit you" I said and called her .
"Will she come?" Mimi asked when I hung up. Lily knocked on the door
"In 10 min. I have to go . Bye princess . Bye Dany " I said and left .
"Hey Candice how are you?" Lily said when I opened the door .
"I'm fine lets go" I said and entered Lily's school car.
She got in the drivers seat ,turned the car on and started driving .
"Nice hoodie " she said and started laughing .i rolled my eyes at her.
My phone rang .
"Hey Dany what's wrong ?" I asked when I picked up.
"The babysitter didn't come "
"Why didn't Nancy come?"I asked
"I going to stay with Mimi until you come back from school"he said ignoring my question.
"Okay . I won't stay long . I'll leave school at 4th period " I said and hung up.
"Why?" Lily asked .
"Why what?"I looked at her .
"Why are you going to leave at the 4th period?" She asked
"I'm going to get mom and dad from the airport " i said
"Oh right . Today's the big day . Are you nervous?" She asked and I nodded .
We arrived at school and lily parked her car at her usual spot. We got out and lily looked the car. We entered the schools gate and everyone's eyes  turned towards us . They were staring at my hoodie .
"Sandra Sandy " Molly said and came our way .
"Hey Molly"lily said
"I like your hoodie sandy " Molly said and the student laughed .
I tried walking past her but she took my arm .
"Why aren't you wearing your glasses?"she asked
"That's none of your business " I said harshly.
She smirked and pushed me . I fell and the students laughed harder .
Molly approached me as I stood up. Some students were shouting 'fight fight fight'
"C'mon sandy. Let's fight " Molly said
"I don't want to do this Molly"i said
"Why? Are you so weak that you can't fight me? Or are upset scared that I'm going to win?"she said and smirked
She tried to slap me but I caught her hand.
"Leave her alone Molly"a voice said from behind
"Rayan I didn't see you standing here" she said in a high pitched voice and hugged him.
I felt a sting of jealousy when she hugged him . I shouldn't be jealous. I shouldn't care if she hugged him or not . But I can't help but feel this jealousy.
Rayan pushed her off him and walked towards me .
"Are you okay sandy?"he asked and i nodded
"Sandy there's something I need to ask you " he started . I looked at him wondering what does he want to say.
Lily was waiting patiently with a wide grin on her face.
Rayan bent on one knee and said:"sandy will you be my girlfriend?"
I stared at him with wide eyes . All the students are just as astonished as I am. Molly was staring at him with popping eyes that held anger .
"Rayan I .... Will be your girlfriend "I finally managed to say .
"Really?" He said and hugged me "thank you "
I hugged him back. I broke our hug and he held my hand . He turned and saw Molly's face .
"Close your mouth Molly,you might catch flies"he said and laughed .
All the students were staring at our joined hands.
"There's nothing to see here. Go all of you" rayan shouted and all the kids disappeared.
Lily and name came towards us grinning.
"You finally did it" Jane said and gave rayan a brotherly hug.
Lily looked at me and mouthed 'restroom'.
"I'll be right back"I told rayan and left with lily.
"Congrats . I'm do happy for you" lily said
"I'm afraid he's just using me" I sighed
"Do you love him?"she asked
"Yes "
"I'll tell you something: do you remember last night when I said that I promise I won't tell to rayan"I nodded and she went on "he told me that jake chose an horror movie so that you could put your head on his chest when you get afraid . He sat next to you because he knew that you get super scared "
"If you promised him not to tell me then why are you telling me ?"I asked confused .
"Cz he wanted me to tell you when he asks you to be his girlfriend today "she said grinning .
"Does he love me ? I mean for sandy not Candice " I asked
"Yes he does and more than you think"she said
"Sandra " Jake shouted from the restroom door.
She went to hake and held his hand . He kissed the tip of her nose. I raised an eyebrow at them and lily blushed.
"You look cute when you blush " Jane said and she blushed harder.
"What is going on ?"I asked
"We're ..um....kind of dating"lily said
"Really?since when?"I asked
"Since yesterday. When I came back from your house he was waiting in my house and asked me in front of my parents . I agreed and my parents agreed . That's the whole story" lily said and walked to class with her new boyfriend.
Rayan was waiting for me at the place I left him in. We walked to class together. We have every single class together .
.........4th period.........
"Rayan we have to go now" I said and rushed out of the school.
Lily said that she didn't want to miss school and she wanted me to go with rayan . She thought that this is the perfect time to introduce him as my official boyfriend.
"Okay slow down"he chuckled .
We got in his car and he turned the car on. He drives to my house to allow me to change and to bring Dany and Mimi .
I went straight to my room and changed into a pink crop top with white shorts and pink high heels and went downstairs.
"Rayan will drive us to the airport " I said
"Yes that means I don't have to drive " Dany said .
We got out and I closed the door . Dany wanted to sit on in the front seat but rayan didn't allow him. When I got in he started driving to the airport. He put his hand over mine and squeezed it .
"Love birds"Dany muttered and I blushed
Dany noticed it and raised an eyebrow.
"Are you two dating?"he asked and rayan nodded .
"Listen mister , if you ever hurt my baby sister I swear I will make out regret the time you laid eyes on her.i will make you suffer make you wish you never existed..."Dany started
"Okay I promise I won't hurt her . I'll take good care of her " Rayan said and I chuckled .
My brother can be over protective at times and at intent times he won't care what I do .
We arrived at the airport 1 hour early. We went to the cafeteria and sat at the nearest table up the exit.
"So what's your name?"Dany asked rayan.
Rayan looked at me with a raised eyebrow. I looked at the table.
"Rayan"rayan answered
Dany paused for a moment probably thinking of a question that will embarrass me.
"Your the guy she had a photo shoot " Dany said
Rayan nodded and smiled at me.
"Rayan. What brings you hear?"a girl said in a high pitched voice and sat at rayans lap .
"Anna meet my girlfriend Candice . Candice that's Anna"he said and pushed her off of his lap.
"Your girlfriend?"She asked him in astonishment.
He nodded and looked at me. I was angry and jealous.
"Nice to meet you Candice"she told me through gritted teeth.
"I can't say the same thing"I murmured  and Dany glared at me.
"She means that it was nice to meet you too Anna"Dany said and smiled a warming smile.
She turned away and left . I smiled when she left and that Mede rayan smirk.
"It's only been about 5hrs since we started dating and your jealous already"he said with humor in his voice.
I rolled my eyes at him .
"I thought a model should always be nice and what you said to that poor girl wasn't a nice at all"Dany said and j shrugged .
"When is mom coming ?"Mimi asked impatient.
"In about 30 min . Be patient "I said
She sighed and played with my phone.
...........30 min later..........
"Candice Dany Mimi"mom shouted and hugged us.
"Hey mom how was your trip?"I asked .
"Work went great. I found a great agency to work with. I'm going to chose models and train them"she said proudly.
"That's great mom . Congratulations "Dany said
"Mommy where's dad?"Mimi asked .
"He will  come down in a min. Let's go to the car. He said he will take a cap to get home."mom sighed .
Dany took moms suitcase and put it in rayans car.
"Dane you drive"I said and he groaned.
He got in the drivers seat and mom got in the passengers seat. Mimi rayan and I got in the back seat. I said in the middle to be next to rayan and he held my hand . Mom noticed it and turned to look at me .
"Candice whose this?"she asked looking at rayan.
"He's rayan. You remember the day I met Zach right? You met rayan . I presented him as my boyfriend and you got crazy. Well I was lying . He wasn't my boyfriend. I told him to pretend to be my boyfriend so that I wouldn't have to marry Zach. I didn't feel anything for rayan at that time. But now I do. Mom I love rayan and he loves me. He asked me to be his girlfriend today at school and I accepted . So mom meet my official boyfriend rayan"I took a deep breath when I finished.
I was surprised when mom and rayan shook hands
"Welcome to the family rayan"mom said wearing a warm smile.
"Thank you Mrs swanepoel"rayan said and smiled back
"Please call me Carla " mom said and sat quietly.
We arrived home before dad. We got out of the car and entered the house.
"Go change Candice . Henry won't accept you wearing these"she said and went to the kitchen.
I went to my bedroom and rayan followed me.
"What are you going to wear?"he asked and sat at my bed.
"I have no idea."I said and threw some of my clothes to the bed.
"How about this dress?"he said and held the black dress.
"It's too short"I said
"How about this skirt and tank-top?"he put the black skirt and the white tank top with black dots on it.
"With what?"I asked
"White high heels" he said and smiled
I took the clothes and went to change.
"You can change in front of me if you want to"he smirked
"Pervert" I murmured.
His smirk only widened . I entered the bath room and took off my clothes . I put on the clothes rayan chose . I exited the bath room and looked at the full length mirror.
The shirt stopped at the middle of my thigh and the tank top was tight. I looked at rayan and he examined my clothes.
"You look good . Hen-I mean your dad will accept your clothes"he said
"I hope so. I just don't want to fight with him . I want him to stay rayan"I said and broke into sobs.
He was by my side in a second.
"Hey you'll do great . Don't worry . Everything will be fine "he said and rubbed my back.
"I don't do what I did to have you rayan"I said and hugged him.
"I think it's the opposite . I don't know what I did to get you baby and I'll do everything I can to make you happy" he said and hugged me back.
"What happened with your dad anyway? Wasn't he with you about 5 months ago?"he asked after a moment of silence.
"He got a girl from another woman and called her Jamie. The woman's name is brandy. One day I was going to visits lily and Jamie asked dad of she could go with me and of course he agreed. Dad called a taxi to come and take us to Lily's house..."I started
"But lily lives two blocks away from you" he interrupted me.
"She moved onto this house 2 months ago when the accident happened. So the taxi came and took us. We crossed half of the distance when a black car came toward us at full speed. The taxi driver kept on moving in the same  direction as the black car . The two cars crashed on Jamie's side and she got hurt. I called Dany to come and take her to the hospital. When he arrived he took Jamie to the hospital and the doctor said that she was dead. When we told dad he blamed me for what had happened and he left . He never called and never talked to mom after he left."I didn't realise that I was crying until I finished .
"I'm sorry"rayan said
"Don't be. I hate it when someone sympathies me ." I said and he laughed.
"It's not funny ." I punched him shoulder playfully.
He picked me bridal stile and trough me on the bed . He climbed on top of me and held my hands above my head.
"Are you ticklish?"he asked and smirked.
I knew exactly what he wanted to do and when I didn't answer his smirk widened .
"I guess I have to find out myself"he said and started tickling me.
I laughed and he smiled
"R-rayan pl-please s-s-stop" I said between laughs.
"Say rayan is the sexiest guy alive and I love hi and then I'll stop"he said
"Rayan is t-the s-se-sexiest g-guy alive a-and I l-love him"I said and he stopped.
"Get off of me "I said
"Candice Henry arrived . Get down now"mom shouted
Rayan quickly got off of me and helped me clean my clothes and hair . They weren't that dirty but I wanted to look perfect. We went down the stairs and I went to mom.
"How do I look?"I asked her .
She looked at my clothes and smiled
"Your wonderful darling. Who chose the clothes?"she asked
"Rayan"
"I'm surprised that he has a taste in woman's clothes. All the guys I dated including your father didn't even comment at my clothes"she laughed
I smiled and went back to rayan. The door bell rand mad mom rushed to open it .
"Carla"he said
"Welcome home Henry" mom said with a warm smile
"Home? This house is hell to me. You and your kids are in it"he said harshly and walked to the living room.
I know mom is struggling to smile warmly at dad and what he said didn't help at all. Mom closed the door and entered the living room,still smiling.
"Mimi"dad said and smiled
"Hi dad "mimi said and looked down.
Dad kneeled down and kissed mimi's cheek .
"Hey dad"rayan said and smiled at him.
"How's your acting career ? Are you in any shows these days?"dad asked him but didn't smile
"My career is great and I'm staring in 2 new movies . They will drop next week"rayan said
"That's great . What are there names?"dad asked him
"The police officer and the girl"rayan said
"The girl?"
"It talks about a rich guy who had never fallen in love in anything except money falls in love with a poor girl and decide to marry her . They face too many problems because the so airy didn't accept their love for each other but they overcome the problems and get married. I'm playing the role of the rich guy"Rayan said and dad nodded.
"Candice"he said harshly
"Dad"I said harshly.
Rayan rubbed my back in order to calm me .
Dad looked at him asking for an introduction,
"I'm rayan Candice's boyfriend " he stretched his hand to shake it with dad but dad denied it.
"I hope you hurt he the way she hurt me "I heard him mumble.
I took a deep breath and tried to ignore what he said.
We sat on the couches and dad sat on a chair alone.
" what do you want to drink Henry?"mom asked .
"Nothing I don't want to get poisoned "he said and moms smile dropped .
I could feel that she's going to lose her patience.
We sat in silence for many minutes.
"I hope guilt is eating you alive candice"dad said
That's it , he can't come to my house and insult is like this
"What's your problem Henry? We did nothing wrong. Blame yourself for letting her go with me . If you came with mom to fight with us then you can leave. Your not even welcomed here" I said and ran to my room and rayan followed me .
"Nice job dad"rayan said and followed me .
"Your kids should learn how to be polite. Are you satisfied that she called me by my first name and not dad? They are exactly like you"we heard dad shout .
"If you didn't say what you said she wouldn't have lost her patience. It's your fault Henry . Get out of my house . Now"mom shouted and we heard the door shut.
"Are you okay candice ?"rayan asked ,
"I'm fine"I said
"No your not, your crying "Dany said and sat next to me.
"For the last time guys I'm fine"I tried to persuade them but knowing that it's no use.

"Candice , honey, are you okay?"mom entered my room.
"I'm so sorry candice."she said when she saw me crying
"She hates it when people sympathies her"rayan mimicked me and I laughed.
"There's that smile"Dany said
"Promise me one thing candice"mom said sternly
I looked at her
"Promise me that you won't shed a tear about Henry ever again"she said
I smiled and gave her my word
