Chapter 9: Broken

"So who was that?" Elise asked after Chelsea had walked out of the room tears were almost in her eyes. It broke my heart that I hurt her. Why does she make me feel this way.

"Her names Chelsea and I'm letting her stay here." I said.

"Ok but why did she look like that when she saw us?" She asked.

"She's probably scared of me because I yelled at her." I said running my hands through my hair.

"Ok I understand that but you just yelled what she can't handle somebody yelling at her?" She asked.

"She had an abusive boyfriend who beat her up." I said. "She got out of the emergency room yesterday."

"Is she in love with you?" Elise asked. I looked at her like she was crazy.

"No." I said almost laughing.

"By the way she ran out of here I think she is." She said. "Do you love her?"

"Madly." I said.

"Then stop having sex and go be in love." She said.

"But if I can't have sex I'll go crazy." I said.

"She'll give it to you eventually when she's ready." Elise said.

I walked down the hallway to Chelsea's room. I heard crying sounds and tried to open the door but it was locked. I knocked on it and their was no answer.

"Chelsea open the door please." I begged. There was still no answer. "Come I didn't mean to yell at you. Come on please don't be mad at me."

If she wouldn't answer I guess I would just have to open the door on my own. I pulled the room key off the top of the door and unlocked it. I opened the door to see Chelsea about to cut herself with a pocket knife. I quickly took the knife from her hand.

"WHAT IN THE HECK ARE YOU DOING?!" I yelled. She fell back on the bed crying. I crawled over to her and hovered over her.

"What are you-" she started but I cut her off.

"Don't say anything." I said before I pulled her into my arms I held her and stroked her hair as she cried. I had to tell her I loved her soon or else my head was going to explode. As well as my heart.
