Maya POV.

I woke up and smelled something familiar . I got up with Makayla in my hands and walked into the kitchen and saw that the carpet was on fire and the kitchen was too . I ran to my mom room with Makayla and opened her door . I ran to her bed . MOM GET UP THE KITCHEN IS ON FIRE AND ITS SPREADING ON THE OTHER PARTS OF THE HOUSE!!!! Mom jumped out of the bed and we ran out side . I took my phone out of my pocket and called 911 . Hello what's your emergency the lady said on the phone . OUR HOUSE IS ON FIRE AND WE LIVE ON FOURTH IN BERG HELP PLEASE!!!!!!!! help is on the way the lady said ending the conversation . We sat on soft grass watching half of the house burn down . DO YOU KNOW WHAT CAUSED THIS!!!!! Mom said angry . NO MOM I SWEAR I JUST GOT UP AND SMELLED SOMETHING !!!!!AND GOT UP I SWEAR!! Oh ok .....here come the fire men !! The fire sprayed the whole house and Makayla was crying ! One of the firemen came up to me and said do you know what caused this mom said no . and I said the sane thing I told mom . A fire man came running to the other fireman and started to speak .....We found some damage in the house and everything is burned and also we found griping gasoline and a burned scent stick so I think that is what caused the damage . Thanks the other fire man said . and the other man ran back . honey I'll be right back !!!mom said . where are you going !?!?I said . to tood 's house he the one who caused all the damage because we were barebucuing the other day and we were arguing that day,and I told him to put the gasoline up and he put the incents up . Who is tood !?the man I was with ! Oh hurry up I'll tell the fire men .

Mom POV .
I walked onto the porch and knocked so loud! TOOD YOU GET OUT OF HERE NOW YOU SON OF A BI..... I was interrupted by a lady who opened the door . who are you she said !THE REAL QUESTION US WHERE IS TOOD AND WHO ARE YOU!!!! I'm food's mother of his children and good is not home he went out of town . UGHHHH i said and smacked the lady down and went back home . WILL WHERE IS HE!?!? Maya said . out of town . ANYTHING ELSE HAPPEN??! NO nothing I said because didn't want her to know I got played . Oh ok well the fire men are gone and were are we suppose to go . We gonna catch a bus to my mama house . ok but the problem is that we don't have any money !?? Don't worry I know this bus driver from way back it won't hurt if he let us slide .

Maya POV.

We were on the bus now and I was glaring out the window with my baby in my lap sleep and my mom next to me talking to a lady across from us . were here mom said . we walked off the bus and stepped on grandma's porch . KNOCK KNOCK I knocked on the door . Come in . we walked in and grandma was on the couch watching the news . Mom can we stay here for a couple of days ??! Mom said . why ? Mom told her what happened and said of course . there's some empty rooms in the left hall . I put my belongings wait what our belongings got burned . I sat on the couch next to grandma watching the news too . Grandma you got something to eat!?I said . of course of course . okay I said . can I hold Makayla . of course .I walked into the kitchen and she had some oat meal and more but I got the oat meal and some apple sauce and warmed it up . I walked back into the living room with the food and 2spoons . You wanna feed Makayla ?I said . sure she said and feed her the apple sauce thank god Makayla didn't choke . after I was done I told the dishes into the kitchen and sat back down on the couch for the rest of the day we were watching TV until grandma was sleepy and me and Makayla was up and mom was in the room watching TV eating some noodles . I looked at Makayla and she looked at my i started singing ohhh child things are gonna get easier ohhh child things are gonna get better some days ......and it was surprising because she said mama I love you and I started crying tears of joy and said I love you too . and we feel asleep and in my dream we had everything and we lived a dream me and my daughter !
