Chapter 2

"Yeah I think I saw a ghost. He told me everything would be okay and ordered me to close my eyes. And so I did the next thing I know I'm lying here butt naked." I exclaimed feeling pissed considering some of the villagers thought that I was mentally ill running around their neighbourhood.

They kept starring at me.

God,never seen a girl naked before? plus I'm not fully naked.

My aunt continued, "well, the ghost you saw is the one which is ordered to protect you from any harm. Hope, the day you were born, your mother had to sacrifice a boy named Isaac. I cant tell you details but all you have to know is that you weren't supposed to be born and my sister gave birth to you in secret".

I couldn't believe what she was telling me was really true. Was I really born in secret?

"what about zayor? why does he protect me?" I asked furious.

"well that's because your mother ordered him to." she answered shortly.

I wanted to know more,
"But why did -"

"No more questions Hope, please. Through time you'll know everything about your life. But one thing I need you to know is that your parents death was not some sort of a mishap or anything, it was somehow planned-"

"what do you mean planned?" I cutted her off. She never replied back.

I must admit, I was confused as hell at that time because nobody ever told me anything about me being born in secret or anything. My life was perfect before my parents died. I even got to be friends with the most popular girl in our batch, Sheila. But yeah, I left it all as it is and moved in with my aunt to live with her and her husband. I changed my school and started learning in EHS.

I always tried to ask her questions but she always turned me down by saying it was not the right time for me to know anything. She also kept telling me not to tell this to anyone or else our family could be in danger.

I just wander what kind of danger she's talking about.

I couldn't get some sleep because I couldn't keep thinking about the boy I meet in my dreams. It always felt so real,not some fantasy made in my head. The way he looked at me, the way he kissed me.... I was starting to think that I may have liked him. And trust me, its not that easy for me to like a guy.

But after some time he turned to a beast and said the same thing over and over again.

I couldn't help lying on my bed just thinking about it and do nothing at all. I needed some answers.
