"Daniel!" Regina yelled trying to hurry the horses inside of the stable.

There was some sort of frosted tornado it looked like heading straight for them.

"Regina I can get the horses to safety! Get inside!" Daniel begged.

"I'm not leaving you!" It was getting hard for Regina to talk over the loud whipping noises the ice was making almost surrounding them.

Multiple horses tried to unsuccessfully jump outside of their stables.

"You have to Regina this isn't up for argument! Get inside! Now!"

"Daniel I-" And suddenly Regina was cut off when a shard of ice stuck into her side, and Regina fainted falling to the ground.

All Regina could hear as she fell was the faint voice of Daniel yelling her name, and then there was absolute silence and the only thing she saw was a face. The face of someone she loved and his smile lightly enlightening her. It wasn't Daniel's face. It was someone that she's presumed she'd never see again. And soon, that face was gone too as she was swallowed into darkness.

She felt like her lungs were freezing over and she couldn't breathe. Dead? No. But slowly slipping away. She could feel her own heart begin to beat slower and slower as the ice began to fall. She didn't feel Daniel weeping at her side. She didn't know what had caused such a icey storm, but what she did know, was that there was very little hope left for her.

A/N: I know this was very short, but that's only because it was the prologue. I hope you enjoy this book! Future chapters will be longer and I'll update soon my darlings!
