How much could a simple move to a different country change everything, right?  That's what I thought, at least. Apparently, a lot can change. I used to love waking up at 10:00 in the morning, however the time zones are inherently different, so I've grown to now hate 10 in the morning and have grown to cherish 4 in the morning. Time zones are weird, but nonetheless, they suck. Tomorrow will be my first day to a new school, and I'm really not excited. I hate school, and I really only go because my friends go and I love seeing my friends. But I can't see them anymore. Maybe this small town won't be so bad after all. The accents are pretty cool, and I love the scenery outside.

I decided that I need to go outside to town and spend some time familiarizing myself with the stores and trying to see how the Pound system works. So I go outside and luckily my mom left me the keys to our new car. Thanks mom, back at it again with the nice van. God, I hate that dang Daniel meme. It's the stupidest meme out there so far. Yet, somehow, I can't stop using it. Strange.

When I get to town, I find a parking spot near a restaurant that I decide to eat at after spending most of this money at a couple stores. More band shirts and shoes couldn't hurt, could they? I think to myself. So I wander around the mall area for a little bit and search for stores. I can't help but take in all the surrounding buildings and gaze with awe. It's a marvelous sight.

THWACK!

I'm suddenly on the ground and my visions gone blurry. My glasses seem to have fallen off of my face. My knee has a weird tingling sensation to it. I hear a voice that sounds like a teenage boy.

"Ohmygod are you okay? I'm so sorry!" The voice says. I open my eyes and look around. I see a blurred face of the boy who must've ran into me.

"Ouch..." I say weakly. "Do you happen to know where my glasses are?" I ask him. He looks around in a panicky fashion and runs off to about 5 feet away. He returns with my glasses. "Thank you so much, uh.. What's your name?"  I have to thank him politely so I need his name.

"My names Dominic! You can just call me Dom though!" He smiles very happily after just tackling me. "I didn't mean to run into you, sorry. My friends and I usually skate around this area at this time and I didn't see you!" His two friends run over to where we stand.

"Dom, you are so stupid for not seeing this poor person! They could've been seriously injured!" The taller one yells. The boy with the red, spiky hair looks down at my knee.

"Oooh, that's not good, love. Your knee is bleeding extremely badly!" He bends down and examines it. "I'll run to the restaurant and get some napkins to wipe it up. CHRIS, GO GET THEM A BANDAGE!" The taller one runs off. The red haired one runs to the restaurant. Dom turns to me.

"The taller guy is Chris. He's a pretty cool guy. Mr Fire Hair is Matt. They're my two best friends in the entire world. There isn't anything I'd do without them." He says. Matt comes out with a handful of napkins and starts wiping on my knee.

"Chris should be back any second with some bandages." He adds while focusing on getting the blood off my knee. Chris runs back with a huge bandage. I decide to ask them a couple questions.

"So how long have you lived here?"

Matt replies instantly, "Our whole lives."

"What's your favorite thing about this place?"

"The scenery, of course!"

"What school do you guys go to?"

"Uhhhh, Teignmouth High."

That's the school I'm going to. And they're as old as me. They must be in my grade. All these thoughts flow through me and the. I realise.

I've found my three new best friends in the entire world.
