The doctor said only one of the could survive for at least their 6th birthday. He didn't tell us which one was going to die.
The doctor came back in with a white blanket so we couldn't tell if it was a boy or girl. He handed me the blanket I looked down and saw Tristan. I cried tears of joy of Tristan and sadness of Samantha. Dean was the same way. Tristan's head was smaller than my hand. Sam and Emily came rushing in. Dean must've called them. They saw us and Emily buried her head in Sam's chest and Sam started to cry but not as hard as any of us. He was trying to be strong for all of us.
I broke the silence. "Do you want to hold him Sam?" Sam lightly nodded and walked over to us and picked up Tristan. He stared at Tristan with awe, since he was so small compared to him. Emily came up and held Tristan and cried harder. She gave Dean Tristan and gave me a huge hug and said her condolences. Emily took a picture of Dean and Tristan together. They looked so much alike. If Tristan had green eyes he would be a baby Dean. Then she took another picture of all of us together. The doctor came back in with a smaller blanket. It was Samantha. I burst into tears. He handed me Samantha and said, "She will only live for an hour tops. I'm so sorry." We all nodded. The doctor left. "Dean can't you call Cas to see what he can do?" Dean's eyes lit up when I said that. He walked out of the room and prayed to Cas.
"So what are their names?" Emily asked.
"The boy is Tristan and the girl is Samantha after her good old uncle Sammy." Sam chuckled a little bit at the end. Dean walked back in with Cas. He put 2 fingers on Tristan and he was healed so now he could live a longer life than expected, then he put 2 fingers on Samantha and she was partly healed. "She will live but she will have autism." Me and Dean both breathed a sigh of relief. We were finally going to have a family.
"Dean?"
"Yeah.
"Now that we have the twins they need a place to sleep. Can you and Sam go put everything together since I have to stay overnight with the twins?"
"Uhh yeah sure what about you Sam?"
"Of course."
"And guys. Get them everything we don't have." They both nodded and walked out.
Welcome to the Winchester family Tristan and Samantha. I thought.
