Im just a 15 year old girl that has a lot to figure out about her past and future. I have a family history of cancer and diabetes. I wouldnt be surprised if I got either one or both.

My family stayed together for a long time. That only happened because of my grandparents. We used to have a family tradition of going over there on holidays and we had tons of fun. We made so many memories. I loved going over to there house and seeing them. I used to give them hugs and of course kisses too.

My grandma was the most important person in my life and she still is. I love her to death. I miss her so much. She had diabetes and it was hard for her to keep up with it all. She was also diagnose with cancer. Im not sure what kind but she went to the doctors for treatment. They put her in for chemo. It made her weak but it treated the cancer so that was good. After going thru the chemo the doctors said that the cancer was gone. It was gone but only for a short period of time. It came back... but in a different spot. By the time she had gotten better she had to go back. She had to go back to chemo and try to make it through another trail of chemo. It made her even weaker then the first time. She became bed ridden. She started to lose her hair. I was afraid I was going to lose her or have her forget who I was. That was my biggest fear. So when I visited her I gave her a hug every single time just so I knew everything was going to be ok for me and for her. But that ended on December 19, of 2012.

My grandpa and grandma were the perfect married couple. I dont know how they did it. They have been together for almost 60 years. He made her so happy. He was there for her every time she need him. Even when she became a diabetic and was diagnosed with cancer the love for her never changed. That's what makes me smile. He is the kind of grandpa that is the perfect role model for any great grand daughter. He loved my grandma very much. But after she pasted away he was strong for a couple years. Then he past away on November 17, of 2014.

I love and miss them both.
