Let It Fly

1st day of summer break

It was the first day of summer break . Gen was with her bestfriend Carrie. They went to there favorite meadow .
Gen : I love the way how wind blows through the leaves and through the long grass
Carrie : yeah it looks pretty
Carrie is the type of girls who doesn't like describing herself .
Gen : that might be the only thing that you see but I see more than a meadow I see freedom for the animals
Carrie : yeah hey let's go to your house already
Gen : fine let's go
Gen and Carrie get into the car and drive home .
Gen : hey... um... can I stay over at your house ?
Carrie : what's wrong ?:/
Gen : today I'm not in the mood to hear my parents argue I had such a great day I don't want it to be ruined
Carrie : oh I get it I hate when  parents have problems
Gen : they don't know that they hurt their children
Carrie : well good that you don't have a sibling so she or he would be crying if you leave them alone
Gen : true
They arrive at Gen's house .
Gen : I'll get off and grab my things you wait here
Carrie : okay..
Gen walks into the house and her parents didn't even notice her . She grabbed her backpack and put her clothes in it. She ran back downstairs . Her parents arguing and acting like if she was invisible . Gen had a tear rolling onto her face. She walks to the car.
Gen: let's go
Carrie : are you okay
Gen : they didn't even notice me it's like I'm dead for them or invisible
Carrie : don't say that if they don't appreciate you I do
Gen : thank you
Carrie : no problem now let's go
Gen drives over to Carrie's house .
Carrie : okay were here
Gen : ha I can see that
They get out of there car and go through Carrie's window into her room.
Carrie : I'm glad you stayed over
Gen: anytime to get away from arguments
Carrie : what is our plan for tomorrow?
Gen :eh..I don't know you want to draw?
Carrie: you well know I don't like todo that
Gen : mall?
Carrie : sure good way to be starting the summer
Gen : I don't know we need some more excitement in this summer
Carrie : watch I'll find you a boyfriend at the mall tomorrow
Gen : you know I wouldn't like to get my heart hurt by some jerk and that would give us some less time to hang together
Carrie : I don't care as long as I see you happy and since I was in the wrestling team I'll beat him up if he hurts you
Gen : I don't need none of that now let's go to sleep
Carrie and Gen get into their covers .
Carrie turned off the lamp next to her.
Gen: hey Carrie you think my parents will ever stop arguing
Carrie : well the only thing I can tell you is that never be surprised if you find out that they're getting a divorce
Gen stays quite . They both start closing their eyes falling asleep .
