hello there.
I am currently in the process of completely rewriting this story.
thank you for understanding (or not but whatever) c:
in the meantime, I leave you with this.

The first time I met him was during Music Orientation, which was a couple of weeks before school started, before we would enter Moderna officially as high school students. Which was cool, but the thought of it was a little bit daunting.
He'd come in a little bit earlier, I'd guessed, because we were only just on time, and were one of the only few people in the Auditorium at that moment. He sat in the centre, with his mum and dad and little brother, I assumed. I remember, because I sat in the seat in front of him.
Brown hair swept to the side and brown eyes that twinkled with mischief and excitement. When I laid eyes on him, the light hit him in such a way, my heart stopped and I thought he was an angel. (Which is a really cheesy line, I know, but it's true.)
I must confess, I knew I was forever in Issy's debt when she picked those seats. It gave me a chance to somewhat talk to him, and find out his name, and who he was.
"Uh, hey," he leant over the chair.
Issy and I turned to look at him.
"Yeah?" Issy asked.
He gestured to the program we both held. "Were we supposed to get those papers?"
"Yeah, over there." I pointed over to the table near the entrance.
"Hey, thanks." He grinned, and oh my god, I swear in that moment, my heart stopped and I saw his halo.
My mum tapped on my shoulder. I turned to her, and she winked slyly at me. "Oh, Addy? Could you get another one of those programs for me?"
"Uh, sure okay."
As he got up, I got up as well, taking care to walk behind him. I was well trained in the art of stalking - or so I let myself believe.
We reached for the pile of programs at the same time, and his fingers brushed against mine. It was a kind of electric jolt, I felt, and I nearly pulled my hand back in surprise. And I wondered if he felt it too.
I glanced quickly at his name tag - sitting comfortably on his chest, reading "William d Vienne".
And as we walked back to our seats, he shot me one more heart stopping smile, and I promised myself that somehow, I'd get another chance to talk to William d Vienne.
