Chapter 1

I sat patiently waiting on my social worker to come and pick me up. I waited in the living room where the younger kinds from the care where playing. Sarah came over to me teary eyed "Hey" she said " Hi I don't want long Good-byes remember, I love you saz and you will all ways be my best friend, don't forget me." I stood up and walked over to the window my social worker Alice had just pulled up in the driveway she gave me a faint smile and then got out the car.

I hugged all the kids from the care and I felt tears running down my face, I gave a tight hug to Sarah and she burst out crying, "hey, don't be silly ill see you next week when you come round for dinner remember Siva and Naresha have invited you round. Come on if you cry I cry" I let go and wiped the tears away from my eyes. I then thanked the adults at the home for looking after my my whole life gave them all a hug. The head worker at the home gave me a card and a small box he said " don't open it until you get to your new home. Goodbye we are a gonna miss you."

I walked out the house feeling nervous and excited, alice then told me that Siva And Naresha where planing a party for my arrival and since they had missed my birthday in Saturday. My mouth dropped and my heart started to beat really fast I wasn't ready for a party. I looked a mess. Alice reassured me and took me to the shops to get so e new clothes and make up. She even skilled and said "Nathan's going to be there" I had a kinda crush on Nathan but I knew it would never come to anything since I have been In care half my life and what would he see in a kid in care. I got a new patterned black and white top and a pair of high waisted jeans. The make up I got was really nice but not too much I didn't want to look like a freak. We arrived at the house and my heart started to race I was terrified but I went up and rang the door bell calmly but as I seen Naresha walking down the hall I started to sweat I didnt know why bt she opened the door and pulled me into a hug. This is where my life started.
