Raven's POV
I honestly had a great life. I got everything I wanted, everything I needed.. sounds great right? You're probably wondering what's wrong with that? Well absolutely nothing. The only thing that made my life horrible was.. my parents death. The cause of their death was a car crash. But the horrible thing was it was on my birthday. Ever since then I was put in an orphanage. But moving on... Today is open house at the orphanage and my birthday.. Woo hoo! I hope someone adopts me because I have been here for a year. A YEAR!!! I just want to leave!!! Please someone adopt me!
I get up at 7:00am trying to get ready for the open house. I make the bed and brush my teeth, wash my face, and put on my make up. I get out of the bathroom and go to my closet. Hmmm.. what to wear, what to wear? Oh I know! I'll just go with something simple because they want us to show 'who we really are' and I am just a band girl. So I decided to wear a black Sleeping With Sirens shirt and black ripped jeans with light blue Vans. Then I put on 10 wristbands with ten different bands on each one. I was on my phone humming Alone by Sleeping With Sirens when Maddie, the person who owned the orphanage, came in and told me:
Maddie: Come on. People are waiting for the kids.
Me: Ight. I'll be out in a sec.
Maddie: Okay. Just hurry up.
She closed the door and left me alone. I put my phone in my back pocket and went to the mirror. I looked at my reflection. I looked decent. I then opened my door and went outside of the room. I closed the door and went to the living room. I sat down on the couch and just took out my phone. I plugged in my ear buds and went to the Spotify app. I clicked play on my last recent song which was King For A Day by Pierce The Veil featuring Kellin Quinn. I wonder what it would be like to live with them. That would be so cool if I could be adopted by one of them!! Ha ha that would never happen. They're probably recording a new song and not in San Diego at a orphanage because who wants to come and adopt me–

I looked up to see who was talking to me and I couldn't believe my eyes.
