Mia's Big Day

Mia's P.O.V:
I'm on my way to my locker at the end of the day to get my science textbook, when I accidentally bump into Taylor (one of the meanest girls at school).

"I'm so sorry for bumping into you, it's cause I'm kind of in a hurry right now!" I said sounding very tired from all the running!

"Whatever! Make sure this doesn't happen next time! So, where are you going looking like that?" asked Taylor looking all tough and laughing at me.

"I'm going to the library with Jordan to work on our science project! Why does it matter?" I replied.

"Because Jordan is mine." Taylor said smiling.

"No, he's not! He can hangout with whoever he wants to." I said blushing a bit.

"Wait...are you into him? Because he's mine and I have known him since third grade and he's always had a thing for me. Either way, he would never like someone like you!" Taylor said giving attitude.

"What's that supposed to mean? That I'm not good enough for him! It's not like you are either." I said pissed off.

"I so am and everyone HERE knows it. So, you should probably stop wasting your time on him," she said as she started walking down the hallway.

I start running again trying to get to my locker ASAP without falling. I was trying really hard not to be late. Since, I was meeting Jordan to walk over to the library to work on our science project together. But, for some reason I couldn't get what Taylor said out of my head. Am I not good enough for him? Wait...why am I listening to her, she just wants him all to herself. After, getting my textbook I ran to the front of the school to meet Jordan to walk over to the library.

"Hey!" I said approaching to him

"Hi Mia!" Jordan said with a big grin.

"Wanna start walking to the library? It will only take around 10 mins." explained Mia

Jordan said "Ok", and they started walking towards the library.

After 6 mins of walking, Jordan stopped causing me to stop too. I looked up at him and he seemed very nervous. All of a sudden he started talking...

"I was wondering, if you wanted to be my date to the Halloween Dance this Friday?" he asked trying not to make eye contact.

After thinking everything over, even what Taylor said I finally made up my mind. I said "Sure, I'd love to!" with a big smile on my face.

"What do you want to dress up as? Zombies? Pirates? Policemen?" I asked.

"How about you pick and let me know tomorrow?" he said!

"Sure", trying to think of an idea for our costumes! Mmmmmh...maybe zombies or singers or mummies. Nah, there too simple. I'll just think of a costume idea later. After that little break we continued walking to the library in silence.
