"How dare you talk to me like that ! When are you going to grow up and act your age?"
"When you stop acting like a sad old man and quit nagging!"
"Don't you dare raise your voice at me!"
"What-ever"
"Get out now!"
"Make me."
Shuffling uncomfortably in my seat I finally gathered the courage to look up unwillingly wanting to see if this very arrogant Jason smith was the one I once knew.
Wow....
Just wow.....
There across the room from me sat an incredibly handsome guy. Different strands of his coal coloured hair were pointing up in different directions, like he had just gotten out of bed but in a sexy way.His outfit was almost as stunning as his face.He wore a plain white vest, denim jeans and a black jacket that suited him perfectly matching his bad boy, careless attitude.Never in a million years did i think i'd see him again....
It was him.
Yup it definitely was.
It had to be.
His deep mesmerising brown eyes and the dimple in his right cheek instantly gave it away. I was in awe of his good looks. Jason had changed so much! Don't get me wrong he was not bad looking as a child but now be was just flawless. I wasn't certainly sure it was him though. I mean what if it was just someone who shared the same name as him and looked alike? It didn't take me long to find out though....
"Screw you, didn't wanna be here in the first place" Jason cursed slamming his books as hard as he could on the floor and then made his way casually towards the door.
As soon as he was about to do this he took a quick glance at everyone sat at my table and thats when his eyes met mine. He stopped abruptly, staring me hard in the face without blinking."You!?" He stated. His now piercing blue eyes shot straight through me before he narrowed his eyes and furrowed his eyebrows. I gulped not knowing what to say or do so just looked back down at my algebra sheet instead, hoping that it was all just a bad dream. "What the fuck are you doing here?! Haven't you and your stupid family ruined enough lives?"
"Wh-what?I" I stuttered confused, hesitantly taking my eyes off the paper, trying my hardest to look him in the eye.
"Oh here she goes, playing the victim like she always does. Poor April" he mimicked sarcastically clenching his fist then twisting them below his eyes in a sobbing motion.
I gulped. The lump in my throat made it really difficult to breathe let alone speak. What happened 6 years ago was nothing to do with me,it was all my parents decision. I was totally against it but there was nothing i could do to stop it. After Jay's death things were never the same at home. The house was silent.
Too silent...
Mum and dad would never speak a word unless they really had to and dad took Jason's dad Daniel to court where he was sentenced to 25 years in prison Jason's family were forced to move out of town before they too would be punished. They never really stood a chance of winning as dad bribed the judge and paid him a huge amount of money to keep him on side. Dad had his own clothing buisiness was able to pay millions of dollars to keep the jury on side.
"Stay away from her everyone, you hear me ? She's nothing but a spoilt little nobody, her and her family. One minute she's your mate the next she'll drop you like you mean nothing."
Tears were now streaming down my face as i tried to force a response so i was able to defend myself and explain myself to him but the large lump in my throat held me back extracting me from every little bit of oxygen.
