Oliver's POV (Her fathers second in command)

"Oliver was my dad's number 1 guy. Couldn't find my dad they would go to Oliver and that was the same for me. He was like an uncle to me and my brother and he thought the world of us. He hasn't been blessed with someone to love him yet but I know it's only a matter of time. He was amazing and someday would make a great dad." (Sam in chapter 8)

This was madness.

It had been just under 2 hours since we had had any contact with Rider and that did not go well. He had Sam, that was clear, but what wasn't was the shouting of her name before the phone cut off never to be heard from since. That was the last we saw of George too. He had wondered off told me he needed time. To be honest he was a mess, saying that so am I, the whole bloody force is. Sam is like a niece to me and a part of the family in the FBI.

Groaning I rub my eyes leaning my head back in the chair I have collapsed into. After the phone call I spent the last two hours shouting orders that really had no direction and dealing with parents and the press insisting we are carrying out ideas and plans that were never really there.

Wanna know what we got now?

Nothing.

We got nothing.

No ideas to why they were there. No ideas of what it has to do with the damn teacher. No idea of why Rider is interested in this at all. Nothing. Zero.

Would you wanna be the one to tell Alice Johnson's mother that? No didn't think so.

So here we are ten tone of officers in this mobile base, half researching in directions that made no sense, the others sat panicking, waiting ,wondering. What to do next? Ha. I'm left in charge and don't even know. We need a boss, a leader, we need George.

"This is bull shit!" One of the officers, Keith Bucky, jumped up from where we was leaning to shout.

"We can't just sit here and do nothing!" He carried on.

"Yer!" Another young officer named Kelly Worth joined in.

"Settle it down" One of my older officers scolded from his seat.

"No, why the hell should he! This is a load of crap! There are kids in there!" Kelly shouted pacing the floor.

"We already lost one! Maybe even two"

I jumped at that losing all self-control I had be holding on to.

"WHAT THE HELL IS THAT SURPPOSE TO MEAN?" I shout getting into Keith's face.

"What it means is Sam is DEAD!" I flew at him taking him down to the floor, me going with him.

"HE SHOULD BE HERE! SO HIS DAUGHTER IS DEAD GET OVER IT!" He screamed as we rolled around trying to throw punches at each other.

Other officers were soon to act trying to get us off each other and in less than a second the whole mobile base turned to madness.

"SHUT YOUR MOUTH!" I repeat as we knock another officer to the floor.

"HES NO CAPTAIN! HES NOT WORTHY OF IT!"

"WHAT THE HELL IS GOING ON HERE!" A voice all too familiar shouts causing everyone to freeze were they stand.

George slammed the door as he came in taking in the scene.

"Oh here he is, big and mighty. Finally! It's too late for words 'boss' (He said with sarcasm) we need to take action!" Keith said as he pulled himself from the floor.
