For this I used the Rinmaru doll maker game called Sci-Fi Geek, and decided to recreate in the program Sakura, Ino, Hinata, Tenten, and Temari, so credit for the game goes to Rinmaru. This doll maker is good for female Star Wars OCs, but also crossover characters for Star Wars.
Sakura
I start off by attempting to recreate the character's hair style to the best of my ability. This particular program didn't allow me to capture the part in Sakura's bangs, as that is a rather unique feature, so I went with the next best thing. I then decided to emphasize the fact she cut off her hair during the chunnin exams, and went with the short background cut that had a rough finish rather then a smooth one.
I then moved on to her outfit, and for the collar I picked out the part which emphasized that high collar of hers the most, before moving onto the sleeves. I had the option to mimic the short sleeves Sakura's outfit in the series uses, but decided to go with a sleeve that better suited her fighting style. I then gave the upper part a cut that came closest to the cut in front of her outfit, as there wasn't anything that matched. I could have used a dress for the upper half that fit her style of clothing, but I wouldn't have been able to stylize the bottom half, and I tend not to like dresses for doll maker projects, as I am allowed more freedom when I use the two bodied outfits.
For her upper part I stuck with the black shorts, but found myself unable to match the length, and they ended up longer then usual. Her skirt was the one that best fit her skirt style of her original outfit, and then I picked shoes which balanced out her outfit, but also mimic the sandals she actually wears, due to the fact none of the shoe choices fit. I also choose no accessories, as none of the objects really fit Sakura personality wise. I wanted to pick the pink background for this one, but Sakura blended in to much.
Ino
Ino's hair style was easy to create. For the body of her outfit I focused on the fact Ino focuses a lot on the way she looks, so anything she wore would reflect that. Her top is cut off short like her older self. I debated whether cleavage would be shown off, but felt that Ino's personal style would make her want to flatter her shape, rather then simply just showing off. I thought about using the sleeves which cut off at one side, but felt that reminded me of X-men a bit to much, and wasn't really Ino. I didn't want to go completely sleeveless on this despite the fact Ino goes sleeveless due to the fact the top didn't pop until the third color was added in.
For the bottom I used the shortest thing Ino could wear, as I felt that wasn't her style. I debated whether to pick a skirt more like what she has in the series, or to pick something that showed off a bit, but Ino's style calls for flattery over just simply showing off. The shoes I used for Sakura didn't look right, so I went with a longer boot. For the background I debated using a grey background, but instead settled on a teal background like Sakura's to emphasize the fact the two are rivals.
Hinata
Hinata was really simple - in the fact I could easily put together an outfit for her, but not in the fact I couldn't get her hair right. I debated between two choices for short hair cuts, but also whether I should go with the longer hair cut after the time skip. I also choose the pink background, as it makes her pop for this project.
Tenten
I liked creating Tenten, as I got to be the most creative so far out of the five dolls. (I've not yet made Temari. I decided to give her the hair cut I did because it is her headband which keeps her hair from falling into her eyes in the Anime, and then she has her trademark buns. For her top I tried using the style closest to her oriental style, and since I didn't feel it was emphasized enough added in the bottom part so that it had lines similar to what her outfit does in the series. Her sleeves are also short on the sides.
Her shorts were easy, and fit her style, and I went back to the shoes that I used for Sakura. I used the green background, and decided to add in the guns, as weapons scrolls are her thing within the series.
Temari
I could not recreate Temari's hair, so I stylized the hair around how her pig tails look, and tried emphasizing that. Temari is also always dressed in purples, so her outfit ended up with a lot of purple. She, like Ino, is rather stylish in her outfit, but it's not because she is focused on her looks, but instead she simply dresses well.
Her top was the most stylish of the top choices, and she's not the type to show off to much skin. The pants are cut at the side, but for the style, not to show off skin. Then there is a skirt there to draw away from the skirt, and boots to fit the fact she's got the tomboyish side to her, and an added accesory of a side pack. The background I picked fit best
Note: My favorite for this batch is Tenten.
