Cherry cream vodka. That was the drink of the day. Perfect for a bit of taste, rich color and just enough alcohol to poison the brain after 3 drinks. Yes cherry cream vodka was the choice for the day.
Intoxication was what i thrive on, the only thing keeping me alive i suppose. I guess the bar was my life support. It'll also be the death of you. Quoted by my former best friend 3 years ago. Ah whatever happened to that one I guess I'll never know. I finished off the last of the Vodka. sucking through a straw, when a strange man took a seat next to me.
"A drink for the lovely lady?" he swoon although i wasn't impressed. I knew who the voice belonged to and the corners of my ruby red lip curved upwards and my eyes remained on my glass slowly spinning the cherry around with the straw.
"How are you today, Senator?"
The man chuckled and ordered a Hurricane from the tender while propping himself up on the table with one arm. Eyes were fixed on my face studying my features as if he was trying to figure out what to do with me, What would he do with me?
"Well, seeing you havn't looked at me yet I'm surprised you knew who I am," he said. "Cherry cream?"
"With beer salt," i replied picking up the cherry from my cup. I turned to the Senate with an expression that hopefully showed no signs of interest. Senetor Jones was fairly old, 50's maybe early 60's, usual graying thining hair with a certain lust drive looking to satisfy by buying prostitutes. Sad to say i wasn't a prostitute but i wouldn't refuse money.
The senator examined my face some more with a smirk of approval. Intrest, it's what he desired the most. I raised an eyebrow and bit the cherry of the stem. What i was really wondering was weather he was going to buy me a drink or not. After a moment of silence he called the tendor over and ordered my drink with extra beer salt. Classy.
"Well senator," i began taking the seed out of my mouth dropping it in the cup. "You and I both know what you're attempting here isn't anything new nor classy but lucky for you I've had a couple drinks and any minute now they should start making me feel...fuzzy. But not fuzzy enough. Word of advice, keep a condom close and the drinks rolling and if you aren't new to this expericene you probably know how to charm. Maybe. Deal?" The senator laughed out loud as the drink came to the table. The soft red drink swirled around slowly in the cooled glass cup with a ruby red cherry floated upon the surface around the narrow clear straw; I pushed the cup towards my area and slipped slowly keeping my eyes fixed on the senator. He downed his beer and sighed loudly.
"What a pretty, smart woman you are." he said sadistically. I pulled a quick tightening smile but returned to my drink. "Gorgeous white skin by the way,"
It was my turn to laugh. "My skin?"
"Very nice," he complimented. He put out a grand on my lap and i averted my eyes from the money back to him. He smirked. "Call it an advance,"
I scoffed and flipped through the money. One full grand. I looked at him sideways and scoffed again.
"Lets go senator,"

Amari
It was true. She's crazy and I couldn't help her.
They said it started late last month after school ended. When she found out what i do for a living. She wasn't upset although she would've approved of something else. She was snapping slowly and i couldn't tell, i couldn't see it and if i could have i would have...saved her.
The men said she was convulsing of in other words "letting her inner demons go." They took her back into the van and told me i could ride with them so they can explain just exactly what was happening to her. So I would be in the dark anymore.
I sat in the back seat of the special van as Kye stayed in the bigger trunk part of the van although it looked like a prison van. I sat looking at my hands as one of the men looked back me in the rear view mirror.
"Amari?" he called. I looked up at him and gave him a tight smile. What was i to do?
"Yes?" i answered. "Are you ready to tell me whats wrong with her? She never used to act like this."
"No you're right she doesn't have a history of being mentally unstable she has what we like to call post-heartbreak insanity. Meaning a tragic event from the past must've caught up to her and ruined her brains ablitly to co-op with reality. Can you think of anything that might've made her, snap?"
My brain froze as i try to crack it for any information. I thought through every memory i could remember of me and Kye having serious talks, so serious it made her crack, breakdown anything. I couldn't think of one. At least one that was serious.
And it came.
"Raida." i told them. The man in the passenger seat wrote down that one name and turned back in his seat.
"We need more,"

Raida
Come keep me warm.
Are you going to let me go?
Soon, soon i will find the sun. And when i do...
I will find it. And take it away from you.
Fan me off . It's not a request its a demand. Fan me the hell off.
Christ show me the damn sun!
Find the sun for me, fan me off it's too hot.
We'll find it together okay? We can eat ice cream together.
Just find the sun damn you! We're going to be one of a kind.
Find it find it find it.
On the 9th day.
Now and forever.
Life will be stolen,
Yet another baby cries.
Causing people to hate.
And lovers to sin.
Soothe the rough and pamper the poor.
Save the innocent, and the guilty too.
I'll rise above you.
Even if you find the sun.
Live like you love my life for me.
Ocassionaly kiss my check.
Very appropriate, wipe sweet tears
Even if you hate the salt.
Someone will like it for you.
And after I've finished speaking.
Love won't save you from me anymore.
Laugh at the missery I caused you
Because you'll need to when I'm gone.
