Lily's POV
Ryder walked me out towards the bus parked in front of the school.
"So maybe you should just hand over your number. Just in case, you know, this happens again," he says.
The entire time he was talking to me, the only thing I could focus on was his toned biceps.
"Yeah sure!"
We exchanged numbers and went our separate ways.
Ryder's POV
We traded cell phones and punched in each other's numbers. After I handed her the phone back and she gave me mine, I got the first glimpse of her beautiful grey eyes. They weren't a dull grey. They were the kind of brilliant grey that sparkled with every word she said. But yet, at the same time, they seemed worn. Like they had seen too much in their lifetime.
We wished each other farewell and parted.
After she left me I felt a feeling that I've never felt before. I wanted her back. I already longed for her presence to be back in my life.
