Final chapter, sorry! I don't think there is much more I can do with it so the ending will probably be short. If I get more ideas later then I will add to it, till then

After releasing me from the tight hug. Sherlock turns to face his daughter.

'I know I haven't been there for you Sandy, but I think it would be best if it stayed that way. Being involved with me will only get you into trouble, and I don't want you to get hurt'

'I know being associated with you would be dangerous, but what is life without a little danger? I need a dad, my mom is good, of course, she is loving and caring, blah blah. I am nothing like her, she always said I was like you, I didn't know whether it was a compliment or an insult, but after meeting you, the way you saved us all. Please don't leave, I need my dad.'

I could see tears forming in Sherlocks eyes, but he quickly blinked them away and pulled Sandy into a hug.

'I won't go anywhere'

After that, we all left the building and went back to 221B Baker Street. Sherlock immediatly flopped down onto the couch, like he had never left. Mary went to go make dinner while me and Sandy sat in the living room watching some crap tellie.

'So what now?'

'What do you mean' Sherlock looked up at his daughter

'Where do I live? With my mum or with you'

'Its probably safer to live with your mom'

'Weekends?'

'And Fridays?'

'Deal'

The two grinned happily at eachother, I could tell that Sherlock was happy. And I was happy for him.

A year later

So this is it, the divorce is final, all the paperwork has been signed, everything is official. I don't know where I went wrong, I guess we both lost interest after a while. At least I'm not alone, I've still got my highly functioning sociopath best mate, and his daughter.

'Sherlock! I'm back!'

'Good'

Sherlock was laid on the couch again, but he wasn't thinking, about a case anyway. He was just laid looking at the roof.

'Oh God whats up?'

'Nothing John' Sherlock sat up and stretched his limbs lazilly

'Could I ask for a favour Sherlock'

'Ah..go ahed'

'Play your violin, it's been too long since I heard it'

Sherlock immediatly lightened up, he ran into his bedroom and grabbed the case. He emerged moments later with his violin and bow in hand.

'I didn't even tell you where it was'

'You didnt have to' Sherlock plucked the strings and carefully altered the tuning

He began to play an unknown melody, it started off quite sad, but then it gradually got louder, and more lively and happier. Then it stopped. Sherlock put his violin down on the chair and walked into the kitchen

'Is that it?' I turned round and he was stood in the doorway grinning

'What do you mean?'

'It just..ended, there wasn't an ending'

'I haven't finished it yet, thats why'

'Well hurry up and finish it' I grinned up at my friend. He was back for good.
