The heavy rain lands with loud thuds onto the metal roof of the bus stop as I sit in the freezing cold on the wet bench. Liam was meant to pick me up over an hour ago. Yes Liam. Liam James Payne, aka Daddy Direction. You see, Liam and I have been best friends for as long as I can remember. Mum and Karen were High school friends so we kind of grew up together. A few years ago my family had to move to Birmingham for Dad's work. It was really hard to keep in touch with Li and I really struggled without him. Just a few months ago Dad found out that he would have to make the move permanent to keep his job. The original plan was to return to London for my A Levels but that clearly wasn't going to happen. I wasn't happy in Birmingham though, I missed my friends and I just wanted to go home. One night I had a break down and cried to Liam on the phone for 5 hours straight. After much conversation and arguing with my parents, we decided that I would move back to London by myself and stay with Liam. Liam and the boys had their own house that their management provided for them. It was rather big but not a mansion or anything, it was average. The deal was that if I were to go back home I had to go to Liam's school and get satisfactory marks. All the boys went to the same school as it makes it easier for their management when they have to get taken out of school for a day or two. I've only met the boys a few times last year when they were on the X Factor but I don't know them too well. I lean forward looking down the road as my bum lands onto the cold, muddy, gravel. "Shit" I mumble, standing up and wiping the back of my jeans.

"ZOE!" I look up from the ground to find Liam nice and dry, beeping from the boys' big Range Rover.

"About bloody time!"

Liam runs out the car and grabs my bags, carrying them through the heavy rain, and plonking them into the boot. I quickly run to the passenger seat and slam the door behind me as Liam gets back into the car. "What did you bring already?" He says, whilst wiping his wet fringe to the side of his face.

"Are you serious? I had to leave like half my stuff in Birmingham I didn't think it'd all fit in your car!"

"Oh my god.." Liam mumbles as he pulls out of the airport carpark and drives slowly down the lane leading to the exit. "Well..? Miss me? No 'Thanks Liam so so much for picking me up'? or 'Gee Liam you must be cold, poor thing'-"

"Gee Li you must be cold. What were you doing already? Waiting outside in the fucking rain for an hour?"

"Oh.. haha whoops. Sorry." He says, biting his bottom lip to hold back the smile.

"Mmm.. whatever. Are the guys home?"

"Yea we have the day off today. They're really excited to see you you know?"

"Really? Don't know why they would be but that's fine with me. Whatever."

"Yea just try not to judge them straight away, they might be a little intimidatingly weird at first... cos they are.. you know... weird."

"Haha... Will do..."

Liam pulls up outside the boys' house just under an hour later. It's still bucketing outside. I look out the window to the big white building. I can't see much because there's a tall white fence in front of it but from what I can see it looks beautiful. "Zoe can you quickly run in and get the boys to come and help me with your stuff?"

"Liam I barely know them I can't just pop through the door and force them to carry my heavy stuff in the pouring rain!"

"Just do it for me Zoe" he says, rolling his eyes. "Trust me, they really won't care."
