My Light In The Dark

Chapter One - Where i came from.

Casting my Cobalt Blue eyes along the vast mountains around me I snuggle deeper into the blanket wrapped around me. *sigh* "I love being alone but sometimes I wish I had someone to keep me company" saying this out loud I sigh again, then I noticed a beautiful blue and purple butterfly flutter past, I tried to catch it but its disappeared, without realizing it I tear dropped onto my arm "why am I crying, I'm happy aren't I?".

Drying my eyes I crawl into my bed and think about my past......{When I was 5 years old I lost my entire family in a fire, I tried living in an orphanage but I couldn't stand it, it just didn't feel like home so as soon as I turned 14 I left and started my own life working four different jobs to support myself, I ate the bear minimum and saved what the rest I worked like this for four years, that's when I moved to the mountains, I put $17000 in an interest account so it would grow and just left, traveling around the mountains I found this rundown cabin and tho it was a lot of manual labour I fixed it up and made it home.}

I had the standard things with me like, pots and pans, some clothes and the necklace my mother gave me when I was young, the chain is made of gold and has a Fire Crystal, a Water Crystal, an Earth crystal, a wind crystal and a Dark Crystal on it, the necklace is always around my neck, I never take it off, not even when I shower, anyway now i live in the mountains, living off the land, I have for a year and a half now. Is lovely but lonely at times.
