Chapter Six - Will the Awkwardness go away?

Alex smiled back at me and say "Okay I will help you with the furniture then Miss Tara", with that I wash our bowls and chopsticks, then we go out side and sweep the Deck while we wait for Dylan the Merchant to arrive. After twenty minutes the familiar sound of dogs can be heard "Come Alex, he is here" I say putting the brooms away.

As Dylan comes to a stop in front of my house I walk out to greet him "Hello again Dylan, How are you?" Hopping off his sled he smiles and says "I'm very Good thank you, how about yourself?" I smile back and say "I'm quite fine thank you, what have you got for me today?" As I ask this Dylan pulls a small lever on his sled and the Large box on the back of the sled opens revealing all the furniture, clothes, food and trinkets he has, "take a look if there's anything you want let me know okay?" He says to me while he looks curiously past me at Alex.

Alex, who was standing behind me watches the wooden the box unfold with amazement, I turn and look at him, "you can go and choose the draws you want and some new clothes okay, I'm going to get some vegetables and meats, if you need any help call me" saying this I go to the spot with the vegetables, meats and dry goods and select what I want.

I finish grabbing what I want which is enough food for both of us for two months and make not of what I grabbed then put it all inside the house, while I was inside putting the food away, Dylan decided to take this time to talk to Alex.
