"Gumi!! Gackpo!!" Rin jumped over both of them. Both of them chuckled.

"It's been quite a while, hasn't it, Rin?" Gackpo said.

Gumi was a young 18 year old girl with an amazing figure and average height with green mostly-shoulder-length hair except for the front bangs covering her forehead and side bangs going all the way down her collar bone. Gackpo was an adult, 24 years old, with long hair, almost as long as Miku's hair tied back in a high pony tail with right-parted bangs almost reaching the bottom of his face and long, long side bangs.

Both of them hugged everybody one by one. Gackpo bumped fists with Kaito grinning.

Gackpo greeted Luka, "Hello Miss Venomania."

"Hello Duke Venomania" Luka replied. Both of them smiled at each other.

"How did the preparations for the release of the new album go?" Kaito asked.

"It all went just as planned. I hope the album turns out successful." Gumi said.

"Yah, you did seem to have worked pretty hard." Meiko said.

"Yes!" Gumi and Gackpo both said together and everyone else grinned.

Gumi's eyes turned to you. "You must be Y/N!" You bowed.

"Y/N – the new resident of Crypton...?" Gackpo said. Both of them came up to you.

"Welcome to Vocaloid! We're sorry we couldn't make to your welcome party!" Gackpo said.

"It's fine. I'm glad I got to meet you today!" you said.

"So are we! I bet we'll be great friends!" Gumi said.

Everyone looked at the three of you smiling. The start of new friendships is always a pleasure to look at, isn't it?

"Guys," Gumi said, "Since we couldn't make it to the party..." She looked at Gackpo.

"Let's hit the karaoke today!" Gackpo said completing Gumi. Both of them stood their grinning.

Everyone else looked at each other and after a pause of about two seconds, the hall echoed with just one chorus – "Yay!!"

"Where is this karaoke anyway?" You asked Miku as you all got seated in the car.

Miku chuckled. "The same district..." she said.

"Ohh okay..."

From the parking lot, all of you made your way into the karaoke. In the way, you met Miki and Piko. They were extremely sweet. According to Rin, Piko is not good at selection of dresses, and so he ends up asking Miki for help. This is why they dress similarly. They were here for cookies.

In the karaoke, everyone got seated.

"Since Y/N is the special person this time," Kaito said, "she'll have to sing at least one song with each one of us."

"ehhh?!" you reacted and everyone grinned.

"You don't wanna sing with us?" Gackpo smiled at you. He... was... attractive... enough... to make you blush...

"No, it's just that... singing at the same place as all of you, would be too conceited of me..."

"That's not true!" Gumi said.

"We're family, remember?" Luka smiled this time.

"Okay so, sing with me first!" Miku said and got up, pulling you up too. You couldn't help but agree. You were a little nervous but confident in your skills at the same time.
