chapter three

After Adam left I just laid on my bed while blasting music in my ear and looking at my ceiling. I can't believe he didn't tell me before i left school or at least texted me telling me that he had a girlfriend and that he was on the football team. Nothing is the same anymore, I feel so empty. My heart broke when Adam told me he had a girlfriend. Adam may be my best friend and all but i really like him. I miss home, my life was better there than it is here in Miami. My mom was now home and she called me down for dinner, by this time i was done listing to music and i was done laying on my bed I was sitting at my desk in the corner of my room going through FaceBook. 

  Hey mom guess who i saw today. 

who'd you see today? 

I saw Adam, HE told me that he has a girlfriend and that he plays football.

Thats awesome hes finally doing something he loves and he has a girlfriend, thats so great i'm happy for him. Why dont you invite him over for dinner some time this week? 

Mom i dont think thats a good idea. 

Why isnt it?

He wont be able to hang out with me like he used to hang with me back at home, he said that he was going to be to busy to be here all the time or me over his house all the time. HE has to much to worry about, With football, his girlfriend, party's, homework, and hanging out with his guy friends. 

Oh im sorry hun.

My i be excused mom? im really not hungry tonight to eat. 

Ya sure. 

Thanks mom i might go out on a walk in a little to get all these things out of my head.

(Out on my walk) 

I was walking around Miami. I had my ear buds in, I was blasting my music in my ears. My phone went off and it was a text from Adam. 

"Hey, i got a question?"

"Ya whats up?"

"Do you still have those powers?"

(Adam was the only person who knew about my power)

"Ya, why?" 

"I was wondering if you could mess with my ex."

"What ex?"

"Well you know how i told you that i had a girlfriend?"

"Ya."

"Well, she just broke up with me for some other guy and i want to mess with her."

"Ya anything for you Adam." 

"Thank you, Also im sleeping over this weekend" 

"Adam, don't you have a game on Friday then dont you have a party to go to on Saturday? 

"Ya well my game ill do and you'll be going i want you to see me play, also im not going to that party. I don't even like party's I only liked them because of Kat."

"I knew you didnt like party's because back at home you never used to go to party's you used to always come to my house and sleep over. Damn i miss those days with you." 

"Well they may be happening more often now" 

"I'll text you later A im out on a walk and my phone is about to die and i need it just in case anything happens." 

"Alright bye M text me when you get home i know you are safe."

"Okay I will bye A, I love you."

"I love you too M."
