Screaming was all I could hear. My parents were currently downstairs fighting over the simplest things. It's pretty bad that you can get used to this. Then in an instant it stopped and a door was slammed. One of them must of stormed out.I got up from my bed and looked out the window. Outside,my mom was backing out of the driveway and my dad was trying to stop her. They've been doing this for months now and I was sick of it. I had wished that they would get a divorce. But since the government was so controlling,they couldn't. Since one of the many laws states "Once married you may not divorce." I never understood why they were so cruel to everyone except for people who were part of it. Anyways,I made my way back to my bed and sat down. It was so boring being alone but I had to be. That's another thing the government monitored. Which was bedtime for teenagers. I found it idiotic and pointless. But luckily they didn't care if we were asleep we just had to be in our room.I decided that it was late enough that I should sleep.So I layed down then pulled my blanket over my body. Soon enough my eyes started to feel heavy and sleep took over.
