Yui was still nervous when she woke up the next day, her thoughts trailing back to the night before with Subaru, when she woke up he was gone, no doubt had come back to the mansion which she was grateful - she didn't want to talk to him yet. She didn't know why she fell for his fangs then, there was a part of her who wanted to yield to him and she did, only for a few seconds but to her it felt like more. She remembered the way he talked to her - his words and tone, the touch of his fingers and lips moving across her skin. 

She blushed as her body began to get hot, quickly erasing the memories from her mind, she shouldn't be this way, especially with Subaru. She never saw him more as a vampire who she lived with, granted he was kinder then the others but still had his moments which scared her - why the sudden change?

Yui sighed What's happening to me? She wondered and jumped at a cry from Miya who was sitting on the floor with her toys I can't afford to get distracted when I have Miya She told herself as she knelt down next to her child "What's wrong Miya?" she asked as she picked her up and held her gently "Are you thirsty?" there was a glint in Miya's eyes and Yui laughed "Ok ok" she pulled down her top and immediately Miya latched on.

Yui stroked her hair as she drank, soothing her until she was done. She pulled her top back up and patted Miya's back until she burped. Miya looked up at her mother and Yui pecked her forehead "All done?" Miya squealed which Yui took as a yes and set her back down, immediately going back to her toys.

Footsteps were heard and seconds later Christa appeared with bag in hand "Ah there you are" she smiled and sat down next to Yui "I made something for little Miya" and pulled out a white knitted jumper with a black bow near the neckline. "What do you think?"

"It's so cute!" Yui gushed "You made this? It's amazing"

"Oh thank you Yui-chan" Christa smiled "I've been practising a lot, knitting is very relaxing"

"The hard work has paid off" Yui said as she looked at it, it was done perfectly! "Thank you so much"

"It's not a problem" Christa told her and called for Miya "Miya, come here" she motioned with her hand, Miya started at her for a few seconds before understanding and walking to her "Do you want to try this on?" Miya tilted her head as she looked at it before letting out a squeal

"That's a yes" Yui chuckled as Christa put it on Miya, it was a little big at the bottom, but that only made her cuter.

"Oh you look so cute" Christa gushed as she hugged the child "I knew it would look good on you"

Yui giggled as Miya looked down at the jumper and touched in, face in awe on how soft it was. They laughed as she pulled the bottom up and threw it on her head which resulted in a game of "peek-a-boo".

Time passed quickly and before they knew it it was night, only thanks to Miya's yawn. Yui quickly picked her up and gently patted her back "I think it's bed time for you" she teased as she could see Miya's eyes begin to close.

"Goodnight Christa-san"

"Goodnight Yui-chan"

Yui quickly changed Miya once she got to their room and tucked her in her cot, she waited until Miya fell asleep before changing into a light pink pyjama top with a white outline of a cartoon cats face and matching pink shorts. She decided to read a book as it was early for her to sleep, she read a few good chapters until she was interrupted by a knock on her door. She bookmarked her page before getting up and opening it, and froze as she saw her visitor.

"S-Subaru-kun.."

"H-Hey..." he looked uncomfortable, avoiding looking at her eyes "I...um..." he stood there for a few minutes before letting out a deep sigh and looking at her "I'm sorry"

"Eh?" she looked at him in shock...he was apologizing?

"I'm sorry...for how I behaved last night" he looked down and rubbed the back of his neck "I was an asshole for forcing you...so I'm sorry"

Despite him turning his face away from her she could see the red on his cheeks and saw how stiff his body was Subaru-kun isn't used to apologise she thought unless it was something like barging in she remembered when he barged in while she was getting changed and he immediately apologised. Shaking her thoughts she told herself to focus on what was happening right now.

"I-It's ok Subaru-kun" she smiled at him "I forced myself on you-"

"Don't apologize" he cut in "You only took my blood and I took it too far"

Yui sighed, despite him telling her she's stubborn so is he, she knew he wouldn't accepted her apology if this kept going on.

"Ok...I accept your apology Subaru-kun"

"...Ok" he sighed, Yui thought he looked relieved before turning away "See you"

"Wai-" he teleported before she could finish, she was hoping he would stay longer and talk it out. Subaru-kun doesn't really like talking about himself, so would he of stayed? She pondered at the thought as she shut her door and walked to the cot, smiling that her talk with Subaru hadn't woken her up. She got into her bed and picking up her book, hoping to get back to it, but her thoughts were still on the silvered-haired vampire.

I'm glad he came and talked to me, but I wished we would of talked more Yui sighed again and looked at the clock in her room "Only half past 10?" A bit early for her but Yui decided to go to sleep, putting her book down she snuggled up under her covers and watched Miya sleep, knowing she had a baby was still surreal to her.

"I wish Rin-nee was here..." she muttered "She would be so happy so see you" and to know she had a niece Yui felt guity of not sharing this moment with her sister, she could just imagine Rin's reaction. She would be shocked but angry to hear what happened, but nevertheless would support Yui and be a loving aunt to Miya - perhaps even spoil her.

Yui giggled "Ah, she would buy you lots of things" thinking about Rin made her sad, the two had always been together ever since they were born, it was very rare of the two to be without each other. When father had split them up when moving it had come to a great shock for them, they were against it but in the end couldn't do anything to change their fathers mind. However they promised to text and call each other daily and arrange to meet up.

But I don't have a phone anymore Yui solemnly remembered, she would of gotten a new one but they weren't cheap - and she didn't bother asking Reiji to help buy one as he would only ask for something horrible in return, but now? Maybe she could get one with his help, after everything that has happened he wouldn't ask for something in return would he?

I'll finally be able to contact Rin-nee and Father! Yui gleefully thought, that's it. She decided she would ask Reiji for a phone tomorrow and find her family.

She couldn't wait for tomorrow.

man it's been a while hasn't it? i'm so sorry for the long wait but atlast! a new chapter! things have been rather hectic and i lost motivation for this story, but now i'm ready to keep writing for it. I hope your all still excited for this story and where it's going :)
