The pompous man,didn't he understand that she had been working her butt off for the past month,coming to work early and doing almost everything hadn't been a bed of roses.
On top of that he even had the audacity to indirectly call me incompetent....
As she typed the document that Mr. Stupid asked her to type, his sister Natalie walked in,
"Oh darling, how are you?"
"Hey Nat, I'm doing okay, how about you? You look radiant"
"What can I say, married life is good to me"
"You can say that again" Maura
said, Natalie her best friend had gotten married a month or so ago and Maura was really happy for her.
"Where's my stuck up brother"
Nat asked.
"Office" Maura replied
"Do you still have the hots for him?"
Maura was taken aback by that question. How the heck did Nat know she liked her brother?
Alex took that moment to come in.
" Hello sister, Ms. Frost ,how come you didn't inform me that my sister was present?"
Maura wanted to explode when Nat kindly put in the fact that she just arrived and was engaging in a little chitchat with Maura.
"Well, if that's the case, carry on Ms Frost, Nattie, I'd like to see you in my office"
"Yes boss!" Nattie said, humoring him.
As they made their way into his office, Nattie couldn't help but smile at how shocked Maura was when she had commented on her crush on Nattie's brother, Alex.
She was still wondering why he had become so cold and detached from the rest of the world. Of there was the fact that the woman he had loved with all his hea course rt was actually a gold digging bitch who had a vault for a heart.
She had never seen what her brother had seen in Devina, Nattie was so angry when she saw how heartbroken her brother was over the event and she had promised herself that she would find someone who will make him happy again.
Natalie Elizabeth Theresa Montgomery, I want to believe that you are not the one who entered me into that silly competition" he asked softly.
"Which one?"
"Something to do with being a hunk or so, my memory escapes me"

Her brother was very smart because everyone else in the family was in his affair but he still managed to pinpoint exactly who it was, it was she though she had help from her other 4 sisters.

Oh my goodness what am I going to do with her, he thought desperately because the magazine was to be published the next day, and, he had to find a way to undo this damage because it could cost the company a lot, not to talk of the earful he'll get from Uncle Jeremiah for not averting the situation immediately it took place.
