Yang would be walking with Blake the two partners walking through downtown Vale. It was after the Tournament well after Yang had gotten disqualified. And Blake had wanted to help keep her mind off of it.
"So you wanted to look for some more books?"
Yang asked looking over to Blake her hands in her pockets
"Yeah, do you need anything?"
Blake would ask wanting to try and keep a conversation.
Yang wouldn't say anything just looking down, Blake sighing would enter the store Yang behind her
"How bout this one? It's based off of the outer towns, how the Grimm overran them and destroyed lives?"
Blake asked with a smirk, Yang evidently not interested
Blake would continue to look for what seemed hours to Yang who'd be looking at comic books.
"Those aren't real books."
Blake would state tauntingly.
Yang giving her a nasty look.
"Hey,I don't make fun of your books... "
Yang said smirking.
As Blake rolled her eyes
"Yeah, yeah."
-
Yang would exit first, looking up at the sun when she exited, sitting on a bench she would sigh.
Blake exiting walked over to her.
"You alright?"
Yang would look up.
"Fine."
She responded quickly
Blake was about to go and protest but
a sudden explosion would shudder the whole ground. Yang would stand up quickly looking around for the culprit.
"What the-"
Blake muttered as sirens would start to blare.
Grimm starting to pour into the city,
Yang grabbed Blake's hand and pulled her over to an alley.
"Let's call our gear!"
Yang yelled tapping on her scroll, Blake doing the same.
As they would pick up their weapons an Ursa would attack them, Yang taking it out.
"We need to find Ruby and Weiss!"
Yang yelled over the sirens, Blake nodding.
A sudden burst of light would make the two squint before being sent flying. Yang crashed into the brick wall of a building Blake, luckily only going through a window. Although she would smash her head into a shelf getting knocked unconscious.
Cinder stepped closer, having a sinister smirk on her face. Yang would get up charging at her.
Cinder would effortlesly attack, Yang flying back once again. Giving out a grunt as she impacted the hard cold ground bouncing and tumbling over herself.
"Weak.. And, Pathetic... I guess the only way you can win, is by cheating.."
Cinder would taunt walking closer.
Yang jumped at her again, getting knocked down, Blake seemingly unconscious in the store covered in glass.
Crap. What do I do?
Yang would stand holding her shoulder as she would pop it back in.
"That all you got?"
Cinder would ask licking her lips and cracking her neck.
Yang charged this time dodging the attack and impacting Cinder her eyes as red as blood. Screaming in anger as Cinder would skid back.
"Impressive... But my turn..."
She said with a smirk, a huge amount of fire, glass and dust thrown at Yang hitting her and making her crash through multiple building going straight through them.
She would finally stop only screaming out in pain as she would of been impaled by rebar, the rebar breaking off of the wall as she would skid down it leaving a dark red blood trail on the wall. The rebar going right through her left shoulder and her lower abdomen.
Blood would start gushing rapidly dripping off the rebar.
Dammit! What do I do... I can't argh move it hurts too bad. And I can't yell it will attract the Grimm.
Yang struggled, a laugh heard I the distance... As heels heard along the laugh progressively coming closer.
Yang would take a deep breath grabbing the rebar in her abdomen, ripping it out and screaming in pain she would rise to a knee holding the hole, left by the rebar. The blood seeping through her hands.
What do I do? I can't fight. Not like this at least. So what can I do? Run? No I couldn't leave Blake. Go for her?... It's the best chance I have...
