I'd been planning this tattoo for a while now. I think i have the design pretty much down but i wanted some thoughts from the tattoo artist.

So okay...I've been looking all over the internet for a tattoo artist that has the style I'm looking for. I'm not too picky but i really needed someone great for this tattoo. Because it's a huge tattoo, from around my hip/waistline area to just right before my knee.

I couldn't seem to find anyone that met my standards but right before I gave up, there was this account on twitter that had photos of tattoos and body modifications. I was looking through all the photos when i came across this beautiful chest piece in an old school traditional style with a strange spin to it that i adored. It had his weird calling to me and i loved it.

In the left corner of the page was a light water mark with the shop name on it. Dark Horse Tattoos it read.

So I went on yelp and typed in the shop. I stared at the address for the parlor. It's twenty minutes away! What luck?

Once again, i started looking through all their photos and found that same chest piece from before. the caption said "Wonderful traditional piece done by tattoo artist, Frank Iero."

I glanced at the time on my laptop screen. 8:15. It wasn't too late so I decided to call into the shop.

"Hello, Dark Horse. How may I help you?"

"Oh hey. I just wanted to ask if your artist, Frank Iero was in right now," i asked politely. The man hesitated, "Uh..yeah hold on." There was a second before i heard some screaming from the phone. "Hey Mikey," the man screamed, "What's Frankie doin?"

Mikey, I'm guessing responded but I didn't quite hear what he said.

Just moments later, the man returned to the phone, "Frank's working on a tattoo at the moment. If you wanna talk to him or something we can call you back when he's done."

I looked back at the time and hesitated before i spoke again,"Yeah. I'll leave my number."

I told the man my number. "Thanks, and your name is?," he asked.

"Oh my name is (y/n)."

"Okay so we'll have Frank give you a call in a bit. My name is Gee by the way. I'm usually the one picking up the phone around here. And if I'm not picking up the phone, another artist, Toro will help you out. Alright, thanks for calling beforehand."

I smiled,"No problem. Thank you so much. Bye-bye," i replied and hung up.

...

About an hour and a half later I got a call from the shop. I grabbed my phone quickly and answered,"Hello?"

"Hey. It's Frank. Uh, I had an understanding you wanted to hear from me?," he spoke.

I flinched at his sharp and cold tone. "Uh, yeah. I saw your work and wanted to see if you could do a tattoo for me."

"Okay come in and we'll talk. If you wanna get it done tonight...wear something that won't make the area you want hard to reach and uh...maybe a pillow or something, i don't know," he muttered quickly.

My eyes widened, "Oh. It's kind of a big piece and-"

He interrupted me and sighed,"Just come in and we can talk about it here. Like I said, if you want it done now, bring convenient clothes and whatever you need."

I was taken aback a little but still responded, "Okay, I'll be there in half an hour."

"Rad," he said and clicked.

I set my phone on my table and muttered to myself as i got ready, "It's a good thing you're talented..."
