Prologue: Sound of Tears

"A person is never too young or too old to fall in love."-Unknown

Rain, the day it all started was marked by the rain. Everyone was in a hurry to get to a safe, dry place; they wanted to get out of the many tears the sky was currently crying, making them all ignore a small child crying for his mother who he had lost in the middle of the sidewalk. The place where he had let go, of the safety of his mother's hand. The hand he saw as an angel.

"Mom! Mom!" The small child called over and over again. Hoping that someone would stop and tell him that his mother was on her way, hoping that someone would stop and let him know that everything would be okay, that he had nothing to worry about, but no one stopped. Everyone walked around the child as if he wasn't there and kept on going knowing the child was crying, knowing he needed help, they all just walked. Seeing how everyone walked past him, the boy started to get scared, as much as he tried to be brave the tears betrayed him as they rolled down his cheeks and into the pavement making a small "drop, drop" sound the same sound the rain drops did when they hit the pavement.

The little boy blinked when the rain drops stopped falling on him, looking up the boy saw a young boy, around his teens, holding an umbrella over his head to stop from the rain from getting him wet. Kneeling down the young boy smiled warmly at the child on the cold floor and then placed his hand in front of the six year old. "It's okay kiddo, don't cry anymore. I'll take you home."

The six year old looked at the boys hand, his mother had once told him that he shouldn't go with strangers, that strangers sometimes wanted to hurt kids like him and take them away, but right now the six year old felt like he could trust the other. The six year old placed his hand over the others and nodded before he stood up and made his way through the side walk with the teenager.

While they walked through the streets the six year old made sure that he did not let go of the others hands. He also noticed that the teenager had place the umbrella more over him and that he was getting his shoulder wet which to the six year old meant that he was a good person, just like his father would do towards his mother. While they walked the teenager did some small talk to calm the boy down.

"What's your name?" Was a question the teen asked the boy, before he placed the umbrella away when the rained had stopped.

"Y-Yu. Yu Hatori." The six year old answered.

"Ehhhhh. So you are the son of the CEO of the Hatori family line?" The teen asked amazed earning a nod as an answer from the small child next to him. "Hmm, I see." The teen smiled "Ah, we are here." The teen said before he stopped in front of the child's home.

Yu blinked and he looked at his home before he smiled widely "We really are here." Yu said amazed. "Thank you!" Yu exclaimed before he hugged the boys legs. Chuckling the male ruffled the boys hair "No problem, make sure next time you don't wonder on your own." He then knelt down in front of the boy "Be more careful next time, chibi." The boy said before tapping the six year olds nose.

The door then slammed opened and a woman came out storming to see her child. "YU!" The boy's mother exclaimed before she rushed to him and hugged the small child tightly in her chest. "Oh, Yu." The teen smiled when he saw them, he then bowed and waved at Yu. "See you later kiddo." He whispered to him as he made his way further down the road while putting on the headphones he had around his neck on his head and ears.

"Yu, I'm sorry, mommy is sorry." His mother kept saying while checking to see if he was okay. "Are you hurt? Did you hurt yourself? I bet it was scary."
