A few years later you were both 15 you had become the best of friends along with Kankuro and Temari
Both of you strong and smart from training so hard
But for some reason now you didnt feel the same about Gaara as you felt so many years ago
You found yourself blushing at times when looking at him leaving strange stares from the red headed boy

"(Y/N)!!!" a voice rang out through the village
immediately you knew it was gaara
you slipped down from the building and ran up to see what he wanted
"Yes Gaara ?" you asked breathlessly
"Do you want to go play in the water ?" he asked
"S-s-sure" you replied
the both of you went to change far away
when changing you found yourself thinking of him
you blushed and shook the thought away
the both of you were ready you wearing a simple swim suit and gaara wearing just shorts and a t- shirt you had a white t-shirt over your swimsuit
"You ready?' he asked you
you nodded and raced to the nearest lake
both of you reached the lake
"I won (y/n)" he said sweating
"yea sure "you scoffed
you suddenly felt a pair of arms lift you and throw you in the lake
You reached the surface and sputtered out "HEY!" NOT FAIR"!
he smirked at you
you walked out of the lake and took your shirt off
and gaara looked at you gaping at the sight you had a small six pack and you were slightly tanned
he looked down and blushed slightly
you pushed him in the water
and laughed
"haha! gotchya" you said giggling
he came up with a grouchy face and a slight smirk
you sat on the edge your legs dipping into the water he went underneath and you looked for him
You felt a hand pull on your legs and pull you in "ahhh!"
you yelled laughingly
you splashed water at him
suddenly naruto and sakura came running in their bathing suits as well
and jumped in
"HEY (Y/N) HEY GAARA" the lively naruto yelled
"He forced me to come but i will admit it does feel nice" sakura said
"ok" gaara said
you suddenly felt cool air on your chest
you looked down and found your top off it fell off
"crap" you said
you turned around not facing gaara naruto and sakura
"whats the matter (y/n)?" gaara asked
"dont come closer and its nothing ..." you kept your cool
"are you sure?" sakura asked
suddenly naruto popped in front of you
"GAHH!" his nose began to bleed
seeing you half naked
he swam back to shore holding his nose
you were struggling to put it on
"i'll go see what the dumbo did this time" sakura said chasing after a bloody nosed naruto who was about half distance away
"ugh .....Gaara?"you groaned in frustration
"yes (y/n)?" he asked
"my top wont go back up the right way can you fix the back straps so i can fix the front ?" you asked blushing
"sure.."he replied
you felt his warm hands go across your back grabbing the strap and tying the straps together
you fixed the front and turned around "thanks gaara you're a life saver" you said hugging him
he hugged back silently the both of you separated and played water games
you layed on shore and began relaxing "this feels so good" you moaned
Suddenly gaara was hovering above you
"w-w-what was that noise you made ?"
he asked blushing
"what do you mean?" you asked
"nevermind" he said looking away
the sunset was peeking out of the sky
"we should get going" he said
"yea" you agreed
the both of you walked towards his house and temari asked gaara if he wanted you to spend the night
he said yes
and you had gotten dressed
temari had layed a blanket and a makeshift bed on the floor in gaaras room
"(Y/N) you arent sleeping on that you're sleeping in here" he pointed at his bed
"but i cant you sleep on the floor ?" you said
"who says im sleeping on the floor "? he grinned
"where are you sleeping then ?" you asked
"in the bed silly" he smiled at you softly
"oh ok" you said feeling a fluttering feeling in your chest
he climbed in the bed and you went after him a few minutes later he dozed off
you felt a pair of arms around you "hm?"
"huh" you said as you smiled and drifted off into a sleep
