Three woman, two sisters Liliane, and Valquíria, and their friend Kátia were talking having a good time late in the afternoon of January 20, 1996. When Liliane suddenly looked over her sister's shoulder and screamed. Later police reports show that the group claimed to see a creature with a large head and a thin body.
They fled and told their mother about the encounter, when they returned there was nothing but ammonia-like odor and a stray dog sniffing the exact location where the "alien" was. A similar creature was reported at a nearby zoo, in the following months after, three animals died of unknown causes.
