Ch.2 The Train

I knew I would hate our mentor the minute I met him. Hamitch Abernathy was a drunk man who was somehow a victor. Here is where my hate for him started.... I got on the train and changed my blue dress into a green shirt with black sweat pants and pinned my pin onto my shirt. Effie called us dinner so I trudged down the stairs, I wanted a shower. That is where I met Haymitch, he had his feet propped up on the chair and was drinking. I asked him to give us some advice and he totally ignored me! I hate that man!! I ran upstairs and locked myself in my room. I woke up to a soft voice, " Wake up Katniss, we're in the capital". I knew it was Peeta. He was cute, but I kinda had my eyes on the boy from two. Stop I told myself, don't worry about boys focuse on the games. I got up and rushed past Peeta, I followed Effie out to meet my prep team and stylist. We had to prepare for the tribute parade as well. As I stepped out the crowd roared, but I kept my eyes ahead and followed Effie to the elevator. I had to win the games the maybe one day I could defeat these no good Capitol people who enjoy watching people die. The only other thing that was in my mind was the hot district two boy that passed us, man is he muscular.....

Me and Clove jumped of the train excited and anxious we couldn't wait to kill!! We totally adored the crowd and the Capitol, out trainers in two were not even close to as cool as this!! I was pumped as I waved at all the people in the crowd!! I was literally skipping when I got to the elevator, skipping. Okay I never said I wasn't weird. That is when it hit me that I loved the girl next to me on the elevator, she was hot!! No not Clove, Katniss from 12. She was gorgeous a brunette, tall, strong, and she was a volunteer too! I literally was drooling when I got off the elevator, I needed her as an ally. I was about to tell Clove when they dragged me away to my Prep Team!!:(
BTW: I hate my prep team they drool over me and they have no sense of privacy!! My stylist was okay she had some good ideas, but not good enough for me to win!!! I hope Katniss has a better prep team and stylist than me!!
