Chapter 17: Bittersweet Love

Eunbyul

It's been 3 weeks since he left, and I guess I am still doing quite well here. Although, I may sometimes still miss him, but I have decided that, I should just forget about him.

Anyway, missing someone that will not appear in front of your eye again, is a waste of brain and memory cells.

"Byul ah, are you done?" Kyungsoo called out for me from the living room. "Noona! We gonna be late for the wedding soon!" Junho yelled after him. I got hit back to reality. "Yes, I'm coming soon." I sighed and took a deep breath.

Chanyeol

"Little Mr Park, welcome back to Korea!" Butler Lee beamed as he gave me a hug. "Hello, Butler Lee." I replied him and we head straight away to the car.

I sighed.

I was supposed to reach here 3 weeks ago, but guess what? The night before I left, Seolhun attempted sucide. Because of this, I couldn't leave and stayed even longer just to take care of her, or at least wait for her condition to stablized.

And, worse. I'm late, so late. I don't know if Eunbyul would still be waiting for me.

"Oh, Little Mr Park! Should we head to the church now? Their wedding is about to start." Butler Lee asked. "Yes, please." I nodded.

Nobody

"Can all ladies and gentleman, please settle down and get ready to wish this couple that are going to walk down the red carpet now." The MCee announced.

Everyone settled down at their respective areas and waited excitedly for the couple to walk into the church.

The latter stared at the door and sighed, the maknae beside him nudged his shoulder, and spoke up. "Chanyeol hyung, you really missed your chance and your place. You should really have came back earlier." Sehun whined at the latter who sighed again but gave him a glare.

"I wanted to! But there are situations where I cannot ran away from. Anyway, I'm back now. I'll still have chance for her." The latter whispered.

"Whatever you say." The maknae replied him and giggled a little.

Just when the latter wanted to retort back, the church door opened. The bride walked into the church gracefully with her father, accompanied by the most beautiful bride's maid.

They walked towards the groom whom was near the prestor. Everybody cheered and clapped for the both of them.

"Woah, you look so pretty in white today! Too bad, you aren't mine any longer." Kyungsoo beamed and sighed as he took a glass of wine for me. "Thank you! But, Kyungsoo ah-" I thanked him and sip on my champagne. "We are still friends okay." I continued.

"Eunbyul-" a really familiar voice called me from behind. I turned, revealing the one that I've been waiting for so long.

"I guess I will wait for you guys at Suho's." Kyungsoo said and excused himself.

I stared at him, while he just look at me. Nobody is even talking, and to be honest, I can stare at him all day long like this without even being tired.

I missed him.

"So, how have you been doing?" He asked. We walked out of the church to a near by park. "Great, just kind of busy preparing what's today." I replied and sighed. "Oh, so are you satisfied about today?" He asked again.

"Yup. The both the groom and bride are happy and satisfied. Hye Soo unnie even told me that the wedding gown she was wearing is what she loved."

"Oh, Jin hyung told me that you planned every single thing for them.." was all he said and we went back to awkward silence again. Until, I decided to ask him about what happened 3 weeks ago.

"About that time.. Chanyeol, why did you left?" I took a deep breath and look over at him. He just sighed again, "I need to settle some stuff."

I sighed at his answer, he aren't even sincered in telling me truthfully.

We then go silent again.

I stood up, wanting to walk away from this painful silence. Just as my back turned towards him, he spoke up.

"How are both of you getting together?" He asked. Both of us? Does he meant me and Kyungsoo? If so, that means he thought that we are still together.

"Are you both getting married anytime soon?" He asked again, this time his tone is heavier than before. I sighed, "I'm not sure about that."

Even so, I guess I should have actually explain to him everything.

"Ohh, is that so. Hm, anyway. I want to wish you and him happiness. I mean, I've never seriously wish and congrats to both of you. And after serious thought, I feel that I shouldn't be so selfish." He explained.

I turned towards him with pain all in my heart but smiles on my face. "Thanks." I replied and walked away without looking at his face. I guess, the only reason why he let go of me is when he found his happiness.

I think we both late again.

Everything shouldn't be like this. I shouldn't have came back with Jaerim oppa from the start.

I think, going back to where I belong is the right choice since I see no reason why am I here.

Hey hey hey, I'm back again. But as you can see, this feels like this story is going to end soon. However, no worries okay. There will be more than 20 chapters but less than 30 chapters! ^^
