Room Number 2068

Chapter 3

"Haha! This room is just too dull. How can anyone even die here?", said Mr. Andrew in his recorder while examining the room. He was observing each corner of the room keenly. On the back side of the door, there was a map of whole hotel showing various ways of escaping the hotel during an emergency.
The room had a bed, a TV, a phone and a fridge full of beer bottles. There was a table on which a table clock was kept. The bathroom of 2068 was nothing special, it had a bathtub and a sink. The bulb in the bathroom wasn't working. "These poor jerks are so scared of this room that no one noticed the poor condition of this room while cleaning it",said Mr. Andrew.
         It was 9 pm in the table clock, when suddenly the temperature of the room started to increase. Mr. Andrew removed his jacket and kept it on his bed. He thought its just a maintainance problem or it might be a trick of the manager to scare him. He called the receptionist and asked for the electrician. After almost 10 minutes the electrician knocked the door and entered 2068. Mr. Andrew told him about the condition of room and yelled at him saying,"Repair it quickly, I wanna chat with the ghosts sooner." The electrician was an old guy who did his work and said,"Take care sir. I hope u would not call me again." He smiled while closing the door of 2068. "Poor guy", said Mr. Andrew.
        After having 2 glass of beer, he was still in the search of the ghosts. It was 10:30 pm in the table clock and not even a single trace of any paranormal activity was observed by Mr. Andrew. "Its 10:30 and all the ghosts are scared because of this paranormal activity expert and have decided to leave the room hahaha.", recorded Mr. Andrew and decided to sleep. He removed his shoes, kept his cell phone on the table, smiled by looking at his daughters photo in his wallet and jumped on the bed and closed his eyes.
       It was almost 11 in the clock. Mr. Andrew suddenly opened his eyes after listening to his daughters voice. He got up and saw that the same clip which he was watching on the day of his divorce was being played on the TV, he was still in shock when suddenly the phone in the room started ringing. Mr. Andrew ran towards the phone and picked it up. "Sir would you like to add any salad with your dinner? We have a variety of salads avaliable. Italian, Spanish, Indian! Would you like to try?", asked the receptionist. Mr. Andrew furiously replied," I didn't order any dinner and I don't want any salad and don't disturb me please!" The receptionist in a pleasant tone said,"Thank you sir and yes the spanish salad is really amazing. The dinner will be served in 15 minutes thanks for ordering." Mr. Andrew started to yell at the phone but it was no more connected to the receptionist. The digits in the table clock were changing fastly and suddenly a timer of 100 minutes started in the clock. The radio in the room started to play 'we have just begun'. Mr. Andrew started sweating again but the reason of sweating was not the temperature this time....
