Beep... Beep... Beep...
Groaning, Clarke turns and slaps her hand down on her alarm. It's been a week since school has started and she's exhausted already. Not to mention she hasn't even been able to get to the beach yet! Sighing, Clarke slides off the bed and starts her morning routine, getting ready for her classes.
"Morning, Princess." Raven sips her coffee, not even bothering looking up from her phone, as Clarke walks into the kitchen. "Aren't you glad you chose to follow your mother's footsteps and go into pre-med?"
"Shut it Rave." Clarke mumbles as she grabs a mug of coffee and takes a huge swig. "What do you have today?"
Raven looks up, thinking. "I have a physics class today, then mechanics. And then, I think I'm heading into the garage after to get some hours in. What about you?"
Clarke, after finishing her cup of coffee, rinses it then sets it in the dishwasher. "I have a couple anatomy and physiology classes today. Then I think I'm gonna start looking around for a job."
Grabbing her things, Clarke bids Raven goodbye and gets into her car, driving to class.

By the time she got out of her two classes, Clarke was exhausted. Learning anatomy and physiology is by far tiring, especially when it comes to memorizing everything. To top it off, Clarke wasn't having any luck finding a job. Today just wasn't a good day for her.
Sighing, she walks to a bench on the side and sits down. All she needs is a simple job, is that too much to ask? A vibration in her bag, breaks her out of her thoughts. Looking through her bag, she finds her phone and sees Octavia calling.
"Hey O!" Clarke answers tiredly.
"Clarke! OMG, meet me and Raven at the Trikru Cafe in like 10 minutes! I got some amazing news!! Hurry!!!" Octavia shouts into the phone before promptly hanging up. Frowning, Clarke looks at her phone confusedly before sighing and getting up.
As Clarke started digging into her bag for some gum, she wasn't looking where she was going. All of a sudden, she felt herself run into someone. Reflexively, she grabs the person's waist for balance only to trip over her bag that had fallen, causing both of them to topple backwards and fall to the ground.
Groaning, Clarke rubs the back of her head where she hit the ground.
"What the he-"Clarke starts before breaking off at seeing who's on top of her. Wow. Lying on top of her, also groaning in pain, was one of the most beautiful women she has ever seen. She looked to be about Clarke's age, with beautiful, long, wavy, brunette hair. When she opened her eyes to look down at Clarke, her eyes widened. This stranger had eyes to die for. Clarke felt herself drowning in seas of green.
Both women couldn't seem to break eye contact, both lost in the other's eyes. A car horn blaring, a distance away, broke their spell, and they both came to realize they were still on the ground.
"Oh my god, I'm so sorry!" The stranger rushed out as she stood and helped Clarke stand. "I'm so sorry, I'm late for work and I wasn't looking where I was going." She quickly picked up her belongings and handed Clarke's over to her.
"I-It's okay." Clarke stuttered, still lost in the beauty of this woman.
"I'm really sorry..." the woman dragged out, waiting to find out Clarke's name.
Clarke realizing she was waiting for her name, quickly replied. "Clarke. Clarke Griffin."
"Clarke." The woman smiled. Oh my god, what a beautiful smile. "Beautiful name." Clarke's cheeks instantly blushed red as she looked down and bit her lip.
"Oh god, I'm sorry, I gotta go! I'm so late. Again, I'm so sorry Clarke!" The woman rushed out as she looked at her phone and saw the time.
"Wait!" Clarke yelled before the woman could get too far away. "What's your name?"
"Lexa. Lexa Woods." With a last smile, Lexa ran around the corner, leaving a smiling blonde in her wake.

"Where the hell have you been?" Octavia hissed out as Clarke ran into the cafe and sat where Raven and Octavia were waiting.
"Sorry O. I kinda ran into someone." Clarke rushed out as she sat down and situated herself. She still had a small smile on her face from the previous incident. Lexa. She loved that name. It was beautiful, just like the beholder. God, she just met this woman, and she can't stop thinking about her. She was so going to look her up on Facebook when she gets home.
A hand waving in front of her face brought her out of her thoughts. "Hellooooo. Princess." Raven snickered as Clarke realized she zoned out. "Okay, spill. You have this dopey smile on your face, which only means you met someone."
Biting her lip, she contemplated whether she should tell them, but figured there wasn't any harm.
"So, that person I ran into. Her name is Lexa, and oh my god guys, she was fucking gorgeous!! Like she had the most beautiful green eyes, and her hair was so pretty, and fuck, I froze up when I saw her." Clarke ranted. She felt a bit like a teenager again, spilling secrets about her secret crush, but whatever.
"Damn Clarke." Octavia laughed. "You got it bad. Did you at least get her number?" That wiped the smile off of Clarke's face.
"Seriously Princess? You finally meet a woman worth chasing after, and you didn't even get her number?" Raven chuckled. "Epic fail!"
"I know, I know!! I'm gonna look her up on Facebook when we get home. But enough about me, what's your big news, O?"
Suddenly, Octavia turned into a bouncing ball of energy. Like, literally.
"I'm ENGAGED!!!!" She flashed her left hand forward showing off the ring on her finger. "Lincoln proposed this morning."
The cafe was engulfed with three screaming woman. Both Raven and Clarke rushed to hug Octavia and check out the ring. It was beautiful.
"Holy shit O! This ring is huge." Raven gawked.
"I'm so happy for you O!" Clarke hugged her again. She saw out of the corner of her eye the waitress approaching with their waters, but didn't pay attention.
"Hey ladies, what can I get for you?" That voice. Clarke froze and slowly turned around to face the waitress.
"Lexa..."
"Clarke..."
