Sometimes at night
I lay and wonder
How everything that,
I never asked for
Was all I got .
In the lonely hour
I got someone to laugh with
And in the loneliest of time
I got someone to have fun with.
The unexpected time ,
Was the best of all
And I know in my heart
This might be the reason for my fall.
As nothing lasts forever
This time will also fade.
And it will leave a heartache
Which I cannot fake .
