I walk into the student parking lot, I look around. I walk further, I see an older truck. It's really nice, but I can't see the year or type so I go closer.
"Told ya." I hear a voice.
I look up, "Well hello." I say with a giggle.
"Hop in, gorgeous." She tells me while jumping off the top of the truck. She threw her backpack in the bed of the truck and I did the same. We get in the truck and she starts it.
"Wow." I say.
"What?" She says with a smerk on her face.
"The truck is loud." I laughed a little bit.
"Yes, she is." We pull out of the parking, "Wanna go to my place?" Jay asks
"Yeah, sounds great to me." We drive about 25 minutes and stop at a little meat market. She gets out, so I follow.
"Steak, ribs, pork, or fish?" She asks.
"Er, I don't like fish. My Auntie and Uncle cooked streak lastnight. Ribs?" I say softly, thinking to myself , but I guess I said it outloud.
"Two racks of ribs, make sure they have meat on them, please." She says to the man. He was a dark man, with brown hair, and green eyes, he wore blood on his uniform, I wondered what it was from. I didn't ask. I looked at that total for the meat, the screen said 67.24.
"Jay," I say softly.
She turns her head and answers with, "Yes?"
I hesitate, "Do you have money for this?" I looked at the meat, sittin there cold, and wrapped in a white paper material. She pulls out her wallet, pulls out a hundred dollar bill. She looks at me with a soft grin. We walk back to the truck without saying anything. She starts the truck, then stops it.
"Izabella, you see there is something you so noy know. Not anyone knows this, noy one person out side of the ones who are involved with it." She looks down.
"Okay?" I look at her, "Do you want to tell me?" I smile a friendly smile.
"I will, trust me."
