Meeting her

The breeze of the wind emits cold touch to my skin, but as I walked through the path of our house I heard someone humming silently but the voice immense a beautiful melody that makes me wonder and follow the trail where the voice came from. As I trailed the sound I seek, a glimpse of a girl in a swing singing appeared before my eyes her voice embodied her happiness that gave me warm feeling that will surely engrave to my heart, I stood at the foot of the tree, enjoying the feel of the wind. It was quite This is nice! I sat down and before long, I closed my eyes and enjoyed the company of her voice, I had fallen asleep under the tree’s shadow.

“Umm…” someone said. “ Hello—“

“Mmm….” I murmured. I didn’t notice that I had a nap.

“Umm…I’m sorry if I disturbed you, but you’ll get cold if you will stay there!”     She worriedly told me.

I’m having a nap in here!! I thought but my stomach grumbled and I wondered how many hours have I slept since I think it’s pretty late. I got up and ….

“Oi! What time is it??!!” I asked.

“I’m sorry! But I don’t have my watch with me!!” she replied while picking something at her bag, she pulled out a bread and offered “Here! Take it! “

“I don’t need that! “ I exclaimed. I don’t need pity.

“But...You’re hungry!!” she plead.

I noticed her eyes getting teary. OH! NO!! It’s too troublesome to hear someone wailing. I do not accept something from stranger. But I feel that she means no harm and it’s mean for a boy to not accept gift from girl!!!!....My stomach grumbled again…I looked up to her she still have her arms stretched and still offering…JUST THIS ONCE...I will accept the GIFT!!!THE GIFT!!Not her pity!!(Tsk...Tsk...Tsk...Just accept it already. WHO’S THAT?? I’m your conscience!!    WHAT DO YOU NEED!!I want you to take the bread WHY!!! You’re hungry! You should accept her offer! BUT I DON’T KNOW HER! Do you think she knows you too! She’s kind too even give a bread to a stranger you know!!!!You know you’re too pushy!! I’m not pushy!  You Are!! AM NOT!! I’m just showing up whenever you’re hungry so--- SHUT UP!!WHAT DO YOU WANT!! Simply put... I JUST WANT YOU TO TAKE THAT BREAD SO YOU CAN STOP MURMURING AND TALKING TO YOURSELF!!!!! You should go away!!HAVE A SHAME TO YOURSELF DON’T YOU SEE THE GIRL ARMS WERE SHAKING!!!!! HER ARMS WERE NUMB!!!!! OKAY! OKAY! I’LL TAKE IT!!!) .I snatched the bread from her hands Where’s the thank you!!    “Thank You!!”  GOOD!!

“You’re Welcome!” She told me with a tinge of happiness at her voice.

Meanwhile in some room……….

 “Sir! We have found her!!” some man wearing glasses in a black suit stated.

“Really!! Where is she?? Is she fine?? Where does she live?? What does she look like?? “A man questioned with a lot of excitement written all over his face.

 The man in a suit was taken aback with the questions bombarded to him he replied with a serious tone “Sir!! Calm down!! She’s fine and healthy!! You don’t need to worry!!”

“Okay! Is she with you?? Can I see her??!!” the man asked with a hint of longing to someone.

“Sir, I know you are eager to see your daughter but you know that we should follow proper procedures before taking her!!! “The man in a suit stated.

“I know…..I know!! I apologize Johnny! It’s just like you said I’m eager to see her 12 years was taken to me without having my daughter at my side, now that my wife passed away, I don’t  have reason to live on, I’m getting old and you know that!! She is the only one left to me!! I can’t lose her!!Now that I found her!!”  The man said with a tinge of sadness, loneliness and regrets at his voice.

“I know Sir! I already prepared all measures to take your daughter back!!” Johnny (the man in a black suit) stated.

“I’ll leave it to you then!!” the man remarked.

While I’m eating she sat beside me and grabbed a sandwich from her bag and ate it…….

“Why do you have two breads at your bag?!!!” I questioned.

“Huh??”She reacted stunned.

“Weren’t girls have small appetite?” “You brought two breads were you saving it for someone or rather you just have it for yourself!!” I commented.

Staggered about his sudden remark she uttered “No! It’s not like that…It’s just---“with trace of displeased at her voice.

“You’ll end up fat if you continue doing that!!” I told her not letting her finish her sentence.

“It’s not like that!!” she mumbled “The one is for myself and the other is for someone who needs it!!” she told me with a hint of sadness at her voice.

“Then who are you reserving it for??!!” I asked out of curiosity.

“To a person who needs it!!!” she replied lowly.

“Hm….” I reacted.  At the tone of her voice she doesn’t want to talk about it. By the way I think it’s too late, I’m sure mom will scold me.

“C-i—e—l----C---i---e---l!!!” A boy from near a shop shouted.

Oh shit!! I know that VOICE!!That lousy brother of mine will surely tease me if he sees me with a girl!! I should get rid of her before can find me .The sun is already setting better to ask her now to go home…..

“Hey! Wasn’t it too late for you to be out at this hour??!!” I asked her.

“Yeah!!” she replied.

“Will someone fetch you??!!” I asked.

“No one!! My grandma is at her work and surely she will go home late!! So I’m going home by myself!!” she said sighing.

“So…….is your house nearby??!!”  Can’t let a girl walk alone! Can me! Better walk her through home.

“Yeah! Err……..Why you ask??!!” she asked.

I was so absorbed by thinking Go home! Go home! It’s too late! Mom will scold me! I didn’t hear her question I spoke all of a sudden “Let me walk you through there!!”

“Ooo….kkaaayy---!!” she replied doubtedly.
